u can't say that just becaus esomeone upgraded his up highly,that it is demanding the best of both worlds

But it is an advantage the have over the ascended..... so you don't not get an any advantages.... you decide to take no bonus and just work on taking advantage of your UP and miner allocation plus your constant 25% bonus...

As the main problem that people seem to be having with this idea is that the people who dont ascend can concentrate on building their account up without knowing it will be reset why not make it rather than the 50bill naq bahamut suggested to get those bonus 5% upgrades you make it so the account loses 5kUP the first time, then for next you lose 6kUP, the next you lose 7kUP, etc... up to a maximum of 5 bonuses. Though you will not be able to add any of the bonus stats to your primary stat and only a maximum of 2 bonuses per stat, for example a goauld couldnt add any bonuses to his income, an asgard couldnt add to his attack and so on. Its the only compromise I could think that might be acceptable to both parties, as while the unascended can buy bonuses they have a limit and its not an easy thing for them to replace.

spoon, why cant the acended races not also purchase this, what could the unacended know that the acended dont that would alow them to get this upgrade?

Ok this is getting childish right now i see the that more than 60% of the people like this idea and always like that. You ascneded poeple should IMHO shouldnt have a say in this matter becuase your ascended buts that just me talking. I believe that u guys have your own ascedned forums i havnt seen it yet but meh. But thats my choice not to ascned and also u dont see me making ideas up for the ascnesion realm cuase really i would get chewed up by the ascneded poeple.

All i see on the first couple pages are ascneded ppl dominating the playing field why should it, They and most of them are living gods are really close which means they have those bonuses to further make them more godlike and what do we have...nothing to balance the game play...now as for the alliance war idea i posted earlier if that was ever implmeneted do u no how much of those bonus would work to ur advatnages during war time?

Lets say there was a Alliance all ascneded players with LG status and fighting a allaince that has no ascneded players how is the no ascneded alliance suppose to compete..? their is a reason why there c alled LG becuase everything of there is godlike compared to the non ascended player.

As i seen in the SG1 episodes the SGC adapted to combat the priors with devices becuase they knew that convention means wont work on Proirs(IE...bullets staff weps, anything)...We as the non ascended ppl in this SGWs are realizing the same thing we do need something to actualy close or atleast shrink the gap of the great power shift...

As i said in the past its not that hard to get LG, all i see is the same tactic PPT back all the way to the top....used by every ascended person....I believe that not one of u ascended ppl actually tried to work your way back. i maen the hard way.

And for this u deserve LG mode? quit complainaing before u actually say its hard, we lose bonuses, and stuff like that...try it the hard way, NOt ppt all the way back not get all your stuff back from a friend that was holding it for u when u ascnded. and just becuase u are ascended doesnt mean u can dictate what we can post and what not to post...I been hearing the same thing.....We dont deserve the bonus, choose to Ascned to get those bonuses.....Hey i worked hard to get enough glory points as the next person what makes us not deserving of bonuses? becuase we dont want to ascend or becuase GR points are "only" for ascnesion....Things change
in the game that is why there is a Suggestion thread where we can SUGGEST changes.....In a way the final decisions comes down to the poeple who built this game...Unless forums comes in here and says no to this idea then i will stop.

But i highly doubt it that he will do this. And i been seeing that the poeple who posted in here are always getting us off topic for (living god sakes :p )

alright i read most of that, one if you want the lg status you know how to get it, and thats youprob if you dont want it, it costs you a 20kup and you dont want to lose that, i understand but why should you get both a new bounus and that nice up

i have acended 2 times, my ppts have been minimal, besides the ones givin to me i have only boughten 2 or 3, im not sure what the "hard way" is but i think i got up that way

as for the acended not posting in here, well untill this is renamed main,non acended sujestions we have everyright to post here.

How about no. I'll discuss what ever I want to discuss when it effects my gameplay, regardless of who gets it. I'd probably discuss the same if someone posted about the goauld special tech.

I'm not a living god, but those players have worked to get those bonuses, and spent billions in unrecoverable losses (not to mention millions of UU for those players). The balance is that to ascend, you must wipe your account, to become a living god, it's 5 times, and it costs a MINIMUM of aprox 200 BILLION naq just to get your stats back up to the level where you get GR points 5 times. Plus it takes time. And it takes UU.

Boo hoo, it's not the ascended players fault the other alliance has'nt ascended, that's their choice, they have been able to build their account for the entire time the living gods have been ascending, as well as having billions more in naq, more UP (well, at least until the player becomes a living god). They are "godlike" because they have invested time, effort, and a hell of a lot of naq and UU into becoming ascended. The other player has'nt, he keeps his bonuses, naq, uu and can use them on his only account, and we have ours.

Don't blame ascended players because others choose not to ascend.

No, this is'nt SG1, this is SGW, you already have extra weeks or months to upgrade your account, and if you get owned by a living god, it's because he's a better player than you. I keep going back to the BILLIONS of naq and thousands of UU required, that Ascended players sacrifice to ascend, and that unascended players keep and build their accounts with. If you make the wrong choice, bad luck.

Again, boo hoo, PPT is part of the game. Deal with it. There are many people who have PPT'ed their way to the top as non-ascended, so it's a non-point. You don't think having to spend billions of naq every ascension is hard? Do you think having to plan ascensions weeks\months in advance is easy?

We'll do what we want within the rules thank you very much. It still takes alot more time and effort to ascend than players who have'nt ascended (who have zero effort, they just keep building, we have to rebuild and plan, which is much harder).

Dictate what we post? You just said above that ascended players should'nt be allowed to post here, you know what that is? Hypocrasy.

And I won't stop saying no, and giving reasons for you not to get Ascension style bonuses on a non-ascended account, using GR points which are used for ascension only, and are only supposed to be used when you want to ascend, and then you have to reset your account.

You don't reset, you don't rebuild, you don't plan, you choose NOT to ascend, therefore you should not get anything extra from GR points which are ascension points.

i agree, i have put way to much into ascending to have none ascended accounts to be just as powerfull.

if ya start messing with G&R it changes the principle of ascension. leave it as it is.

answer to the above: i go on ppt maybe 1ce every 2-3 weeks so not every ascended player stays on ppt.

i have 1 ascension left and it has cost me bill's of naq and 1000's of uu to do it, if i had saved all that and just worked on my UP then i would be still be at the top ranks, anyway - every1 who is complaining, don't - there are no excuse's

Those players who are on the first few pages that are ascended would be there if they were ascended or not as they dont waste their time typing out overly long and ultimatly pointless rants on the forums about wanting a bonus but being to scared that they will be unable to rebuild. If you spent more time playing the game then you might actually be able to get on the top page, it doesnt require you to be ascended to get to the first page you just have to actually play the game.

Well done to macktheknife for spending the time to sort through that rant and point out the massive holes in its logic (or lack thereof). I tried to post an idea which would allow the unascended to get themselves the bonuses that they want but at a reasonable price that would be fair to those that have ascended as well, however it has been replied to by a long and unconstructive rant which doesnt add anything to this discussion that ended asking for spam to stop when it was a spam post.

Im gonna try and stay out of this arguement again now, I had to post this follow up as some things make me kinda mad.

i didn't wrote in any of my posts here that we want ascended bonuses

we want new tech so we can use our g&r, wich where not given but earned

as i also said for those that choose to go with customized accounts, ascension should be disabled, so if that is implemented i don't see why ascended ones should get those extra tech upgrades u have more then enough of your bonuses, as SGC_REPLI told in case of war alliance with few LG is unbeatable by regular players.

as for goa'uld not being able to add bonus to their base race advantages, or asgards adding to their deffence

well look on that as reward for staying loyal to race that, that player who choose to go with custom accounts is

as for first level of upgrades to loose 5k UP and 2nd level to loose 6k UP

because u need for first level of ascending UP 1k, so if u want something like that for those that choose custom account, then same rules as for ascension should be followed for up

1k 1st level
1.5k 2nd level etc

i think that if some1 chooses not to ascend then they shouldnt get any other bonus, they would get enough from the uu they sell or trade with so by the time ascended accounts get to the LG status the non ascended accounts can have:

a) 11 digit att or def easy b) a huge UP c) not haveing to buy everything over and over again.

i think that is bonus enough.
