but asgard weapons would do what exactly to a hive ship...and their shields are better since they were built for capital ships need I remind you of the replicators ambush it didn't have shields and I think replicator ships are made of tougher stuff than hives

need i remind you that the setting for asgard in season 8 is of a diminished crippled civilisation with barly enough resources to defend themselves let alone fight a massive war agains wraith.

Wraith would so kill the Goa'uld. Anubis dont count as he was an ancient, and wraith killed the ancients anyway.

Yes, the goa'ulds have shields, yeh they have like 5x as many ships, BUT the wraith ships are at least 5x the size a hattak, maybe more.

Plus, their weapons are much more powerfull than goa'uld blasts, the size of 1 energy pulse from the main guns are nearly as big as the Daedalus, which is quite close to the size of a goauld ship.

Sorry, but wraith would destroy the goa'uld just like they destroyed the ancients

If you want more proof, it took 500 odd drones to destroy a wraith ship, and it took 2 to kill a goa'uld ship.

the wraith's tech is organic
goa'uld tech isn't...
hence why the ancients built those satellites to destroy wraith ships. drones are ineffective against wraith hives, an probably cruisers for that matter. granted, they are still high velocity projectiles and home in on wraith darts quite easily..

when you compare the goa'uld ha'tak rate of fire to the slow moving hives.. adding the fact that hives themselves are actually quite slow to fire also..

i still can't believe you think the wraith would win ailm...

oh but the wraith's ships have very high fire rate

the goa'uld weapons are clumsy built to install fear in the populace, the wraith is specially designed for ultimate in destruction and culling, they really would beat the goa'uld

i really cant see why you cant see any race that can defeat the ancients can easily defeat the goa'uld

Actually, the wraith cannons fire just as rapidly as the goa'uld ones, and most goauld ships, as we have seen in camelot for example, do not fire rapidly, which is probably for a reason. And to second that, the wraith cannons on the hive ships are a hell of alot bigger and from what we have seen there are a hell of alot more.

And back to the drones thing, even though im on the wraith's side, what makes you think that they would be strong versus projectiles? Humans are organic, and 1 hit from a tiny little bullet and we die... just for example.

So you see, wraith aren't resistant, Goa'ulds just suck.

And sgc, not true, the goa'ulds relie on shields, the drones past through and easily penetrate the weak goa'uld armor, since wraith dont have shields, they have armored their ships to a point when normal weapons probably wouldnt do much damage.
