Children really are a treasure. I guess I always assumed that loving parents would love their children as a matter of course but I was completely unprepared emotionally or mentally for the spell that was cast on me. I just adore them.
My wife also claims that our daughter is a daddy's girl and that one day, she expects to come home to find a pony grazing comfortably in the living room. Which is really quite silly because we have absolutely nothing here to feed a horse.
