You cannot remove a defence if critical and nox is on. It takes far too long.
On top of this, I was using a 10T strike against 1T defences and quite simply, I was taking double the losses.
You just took the only thing that I enjoy out the game.
Edit - In addition to this, I don't think it is possible to take out a fully noxed up defender...on the basis that they will phase each time. Giving at least an hour before you can destroy weapons.
Surely this is a good thing it now requires team work and not a 1 man army massing an alliance, if you attack take them so far down and have someone sab you can easily remove a defense.

i see 2 options
1) make it... 50% ?? 40/60? something in the middle..
2) add delay buy to sell. not sure how i'd do this, but maybe can only sell % of total per day or something.
willing to look at it though.

but for now 1 day of it seemed reasonalbe.

But the Houses........
Once the first Leader of a house has been chosen....how are they removed?
As an Example, DDE look certs to be leaders of Faith, now my understanding is once they are leaders they can kick whomever they wish from that house?
Any new alliance joining the house will have to wait 5 days to be able to vote, and any existing alliance changing their vote resets their vote counter and also has to ait 5 days. So what stops DDE kicking every alliance in the house and then just kicking new ones as they join? - maybe I am missing something very obvious, but it appears that once the first round of leadership wrangling is over, no one else will be able to mount a challenge (Unless the leading alliance falls asleep for 5 days)
An alliance can not be kicked until 6 days.
ah ok...stands to reason I missed the obvious lol cheers mate

ok - great feedback so far.
again, nothing is 'untouchable' so putting a good effort into something, then explaining why it was good/bad/ etc is the best way to approach getting something adjusted/looked at/finalized

calling it for today. but always lurking somewhere nearby

ps - try clicking your income figure.....more to come on that..

@ percentage of weapons sold per day - please no
@ income breakdown - cool, now i can be lazy and not do math when ascending to see how many miners and lifters I have

On the weapon resale values,
This update doesn't affect me directly as im max ascended, but people that are ascending now have a massive disadvantage to those who have already with the 10% resale.
To prevent the abuse of massing then selling weapons, can it be made that the honest ascending players who are say power ascending every 2 weeks, that.
Buy weapons
1-7 days 20% resale value
8-14 days 40% resale value
14+ days 60% resale value.
This would still make it that people that buy to mass, can still be hurt from sabbing etc, but if they manage to make it 14 days they can resale for 60%
This could be put in place for attack and defense weapons.

Wepwaet wrote:Balance is one thing but when you tell people they now have to spend over a quad more to become effective again the adjustments have gone too far. Its going to take 1-2 YEARS for people not using money to compete again.
Just look at the # of people who have significantly invested in defenses since the updates and you'll see that even without the doubling of atk/def power the new defense minimums would bring balance by themselves.
Planets and MSs are only effective up until a certain point where the expense of increasing them doesn't justify the gain. Removing the doubling will put most of the new defenses at or above this point already.
Edit: Maybe defenses should be adjusted so that weapons fail around the time you wipe out the persons supers instead of people have weapons left and no supers to man them(like whats happening now)
Edit #2: Could you add to the alliance manage screen a category list the members population so leaders can have a breakdown of the alliance population?
I completely agree with Wepwaet.
Remove the doubling system..You're only punishing those that played hard to build up their MSs with the new update

There really is no need for stats to be 2x higher and if you decide to double MSs too..well it's just gonna increase the gap and it will be even harder to catch up the top of the top MSs
As I said multiple times - I do understand why C & AC got decreased and they don't basically affect anything (except the part that C & AC planets are very cheap to build and a lot will take advantage of this), but doubling the defense & strike affects the way planets were set up, the way MSs were set up, heck even the way units were set up..

I think it is just fine now. Just look at is as a whole now not just those people with 1T+ MS's (barely over 100 total people might I remind you) and those with great planets and duals. Many people in the server risked minimal UU when building stats and that got them by. This update might actually force people to either risk more UU or move aside for those ascending in the ranks.

Yep you're right, we should encourage people to do as little as possible and then just get a game update that brings destroys all the work people, that actually played like it should be played, put in. Because that's what's happening..

Destroying Peoples work seems a bit harsh. It basically means that Motherships and Planets can get you so far, and with the increased costs of massings it means that those who have large planets/motherships are not able to get around with completely negligible losses.

An idea that could address the concerns of the cost % of attack weapons for those who are ascending, perhaps there could be a section in the ascension options where people who are genuinly ascending to sell thier weapons at a higher % eg: 50%
This option for those ascending can be made after clicking the "bug picture".
Then after you click the bug you get the same info that is there now but you have 2 options
1 "return to game button"
2. "ascend button"
The "return to game button" will take you back to your command page and you continue as usual. This still allows you to see the Ascension Details page.
The "Ascend button" -
Once you have clicked the "Ascend button", there is no going back, must complete ascension fully - no return to game option. You now have the option to sell weapons at a higher % also untrain etc.. Here you have the option to use a broker system within the ascending system. then complete ascending as usual...
This will benefit those who are genuinly ascending and not just trying to get the weapons at a higher rate.
its just an idea....

Gives lots of room to double your ship/planets even further, and get more bonus/boost from it than if you had a 1 trill ship/planets with less than 2 trill attack/def power...
I think this update in power is thinking big picture long term, when peoples ships are a lot bigger and planets a lot stronger as average account size/and incomes grow every day.
Not bad overall,,, would like to learn more about alliance bank spending and lone wolf to make a decision which way to go.

it doesnt give room. It just means that $$ spenders get screwed over with their ms which is hilariously funny.
As for it not giving it room, It gets more expensive as you buy more. So the high end ms's are barely buying 1k slots for 10 trill or absurd amounts of naq.
It levels the battlefield however for gigantic ms's and newish (emphasize the ish to include players that already have a 100-200 mill army and such) players that rely mostly on their attack and not hold a 1 trilll attack backed by 500 bill in planet power and a further 1 trill in ms power that have an extremely small amount of losses compared to the newish's.
Its a good thought, it will kill the $$ market, which $$ is kinda an unfair advantage in this game anyway. However some have honestly worked hard at getting to where they are.
Maybe Jason is just reminding us of his godly powers....
So instead of 2x maybe 1.5x or some other one?
