Most Chucklesome. Almost everyone I know calls me Goo (except close family). Its been my nickname much longer than sgwars has existed. If you feel uncomfortable calling me Goo (some girls do strangely, can't think why) you can call me Ste.

The clubs in Manchester mostly cause me to have a headache (my making-funny-stacking-boxes-with-my-hands days are FAR behind me) so i'd be perfectly happy to sit in a nice pub and perhaps decmiate some folk at pool. My favourite drinking places these days are The Fab Cafe (a kind of retro sci fi pub), The Retro Bar (nice jukebox, nice pooltable) or anywhere with live Irish music and good quality cheap guinness

I would indeed imagine most of the evening shall be spent at a pub chatting or eating. Clubbing is a very late night option only (we're talking midnight onwards region). I'd expect a few may have already thrown in the towel by that point if it should arise.

Fab Cafe is quite amazing because it has a life size Dalek.

Sounds like Fab Cafe is a must.

In addition to housing a life sized Dalek, the walls of Fab Cafe are also adorned with cult movie posters and DJs are generally accommodating of obscure requests. In my experience, it's a great place to 'begin' an evening. I took my Uni friends there when we all met up, but they said it was 'probably the nerdiest place they've ever been in their lives' - I figure if anybody's going to love it as much as I do, it'll be SGW players.
