he appears to be the one most hooked on recording all sorts of stuff... and that appears to annoy the others at times... eventually others will use them too, wethinks...

I doubt that's what it went to do. When they were developing the show the writers and produces stressed this would be more realistic... they would be losing people and if people didn't get back to Destiny in time they would be left behind.

there are many options here...
that was one, another is that its an enemy probe, but thats kinda unlikely, considering that they're traveling away from those galaxies...
the only thing that is sure, is that its a plot device...

WTH is the deal with all the lesbian CRAP on SGU? I am REALLY missing the action from SG-1 and SGA. I am really not liking SGU.
