The most common current complaints in the general discussion thread and when talking to players on msn or irc
is that there is not enough to turns or DMU to farm since the server became more active.

Lifting the 4 year old 2b CER cap to just 3b is a small step in the right direction because it increases the overall amount of DMU that becomes available in the server for everyone to farm.

This idea doesn't favour long established players.
The bigger you are, the more DMU your produce, and the more attractive you become to farm.

What it does is slightly increases production to provide more DMU for everyone at all levels of the game to farm.

I also don't like the rank modifier for earning AT because it encourages sniper play.

That is why I think the CER Cap should be raised from 2-3b Planets and
every player should get 15 AT every turn change.

That way all players (new and old) get a fair go :D

So it's those that neglected their account on ascended, and now are scrambling to get to scratch complaining?

Also, the income won't go up with a higher cap. The inactive's still produce units that make nothing, and most people still leave most planets in those non-useful planets. Which is where if this was main, I might agree, since even untrained make resources.

Also, the statement "The bigger you are, the more DMU your produce, and the more attractive you become to farm." isn't valid, since you can have 10B defence planets, 10B covert planets, and 0 income planets, and make NOTHING. It's how my old account was setup.

+1 for the rank modifier in relation to ATs.

Some are. The rest are diving in head first and giving the server a go :-D That is why there is less DMU out to farm now.

Not if untrained planets produce DMU which is a strongly supported suggestion at the moment.

The way you had your "old" account set up seems different to what I see when I conduct recons now.
Its not hard to farm through defences in ascended, especially if you play in your own weight class.

Anyway Sarevok, this thread was not meant to be debate and duplicate all the others.
The author asked what everyone liked and disliked about the server ;)

its boring, i would really like it more without the ascended site , and for another hand id really like it more if ppl could just ascend in main without losing anything so ppl dont have to find a trusted friend to broker their stuff so they can ascend without losing any

What do you mean exactly? Get rid of the ascended gameplay?

Then dont ascend. Ofcourse you want the bonus, pick yourself an unascended bonus. Or just dont play ascended server.

suggestion to the May '14 update:

Mass/Energy

is their not a possibility to increase the AT's to maybe 5k as its a bit less time to play as the current ats used to harvest mass/energy takes up more ats and gives us less mass time and reduces the gameplay?

or

give a turn refill every week or so as the ats spent to harvest more mass/energy and not getting any ats to make use of the equipped Demi's wont help much.
we have the demis and push in more ats to keep them equipped as the other demis harvest to the ammount of ats u boost with.

Sidebar clock

i heard that lots of players depends on the seconds indicated on the previous between hits made and now it makes it more difficult to time the hits and its a bit uncomfortable to sit with a timer or stopwatch.

Is there maybe a possibility of adding a few different type clocks for the players to choose from and modify it to their needs(types and size)?

Sol,you know that their were uncomfortable and disturbing posts on the new update and the Clock size so those that read this can either ignore it or help improve it so we all can have a great time in ascended.

Race sidebar colors

nice colors as it looks cool thanks for that....

i have feedback from Tolah race that the writings in white is very difficult too see with the yellow background and if their isnt a solution to that please?

Makes sense, I'll mull it over, don't want to upset the strategy balance.

Looking at the first part, seconds might just fit in there with a bit of a reshuffle without sacrificing too much of the text size.
The latter is a bit impossible, or excessive, would have to replace the pictures entirety with other ones, which would call for another layout of coordinates for links and such.

Yeah, I'm trying to find a good colour that works, if anyone has any options they want to suggestion that would be good.

Tried it :P, looks alright for the first few but when you get to the rocky outcrop near life force and mass/energy it becomes quite hard to read. Pure white does seem to be better though.

Dark Blue / Bright Purple are usually used against a yellow background.

all fair and well by giving aextra ats to those in the lower ranks wont be a good idea.
If u want more ats u need to earn it by getting into the top ranks.
build stats and not sit with 20bil untrained planets.

How about on the repairing of weapons in ascended that u can choose how maany to be repaired like in main as the entire repair isnt always wanted and some do like to leave the weapons slightly damaged?
