Without drones it would have done damages.
If a missile can kill it and 500 drones dont, the drones were useless.
It is just that Wraith had protections against ancient weapons and ONLY them.
Like for goauld handheld shields, they can stop energy weapons and tauri ones, but cant a sword or a knife.
You can stop a>b, but not b<a.
Thats pretty stupid I know to be able to stop better weapons than the ones which can destruct you easily, but it is like that.
Wraith were able to own ancients are they were former ancients with a sort of insect (the one who nearly killed Sheppard if I'm right??) in them, they created new tech, but ONLY for protecting from ancients.
Like goaulds to protect agianst advanced races of the galaxy, but not against "primitive" ones, are they were the enslaved ones and normally wouldnt rebel against their gods.

oh, well when you say stand for it means its an abreviation, like the letters of SGW stand for Stargate Wars.

Nephthys = ancient egyptian god, of something or another

NO shields, and big ships mean only one thing...big target pratice in space for the goalds to fire at

I remember in ep allies that the deadelus was in big prob vs the both hives as the missiles were not able to be sent for some reason, and it looked like it was the greatest prob in order, more than the shields prob (==>if missiles are ok, no need of shields, as hive would be put down).
Cant remember why they werent able to send them tho.

the missiles are tooo too slow....when they where trying to stop the 2 hove ships making its way to earth.... they jumped out of hyper space and luanched a volley of nukes at them and one got through....as for the rail guns will space is space less friction and the bullets already go dam fast...and plus bullets are smaller and faster so they cant stop them

The Daedelus was successful beaming nukes onboard the Hive ships until they Hives figured out how to jam the beams.

So they found out how to stop missiles?

actually if you watch the episode again, in was miniscule in comparrison to a hive, they showed a schematic of it up against each other.

I think he ment, big problems, which was true

And the missles werent exactly slow... but try to fly 1 through a cloud of 500 wraith darts, not too easy.

Also.. im pretty sure rail guns dont actually, use bullets in these episodes.. I know they are ment to but, seeing the amount of bullets fired and the size of them, IDK how it can hold so many, I think they are sorta like.. lasers, who knows though.

And no1 send me a long description of a rail gun I know exactly what it is

This is jsut to point out how BIG the hive's actually are, they are ATLEAST the size of atlantis, each one, they are also atleast twice the size of an ORI ship.



As you can see.... makes daedalus look like a dot. And you know that it is basicly the same size as a hattak. This is virtually like a shot from a goauld ship would look like.

SGC, you annoy me so much Size DOES matter, size is EVERYTHING. Bigger means more firepower. More armor.

Daedalus cant resist very long against a hive ship's fire, and compared to daedalus, Hatak's shields suck, you have to ATLEAST admit that.
