Hello.
I'm new too.. Since yesterday i'm 9532 in the ranking and i wondering is that game so easy or i have lucky?
First i want to ask is:
Why my UP is about 450 and i receive any turn only 10 unsign units?
I haven't found any answer for that..
As i understood this is quantity for all day ( 24 h? ) so :
turn is 30 min...
24 x 2 is how many turns we have pro day..
and now.. 450/48 is every turn quantity for me? It is not even 10? An i have 10 ... so? i don't understand it..
Second:
What for i buy a mother ship? And where are non gated worlds?
Third:
Why should i be a tolan? What is the better in this "over race"?

This is shortcut how i build my empire :D
As in the faq for begginers..
1 offensive team, one spy, one weapon..
Search for players without defens..with many cash..
20-30 times the same..
UP invests, and Attack with not so bad defence..
Then covert and spies..
And now i search the sens and the way to progress further..

CAn anybody help me?
I'm from POLAND and will be nice to find more polish fan's of this game.
Maybe Alliance?;)
Sorry for my English but i use it not so often.
Thx for all and for your patience.

Hi Dr, Jackson and Pepl,

Welcome to both of ya!

Dr. Jackson, are you buying weapons for your army, are you getting covert and anti-covert., tech uprades? There are lot of tips in the Newbie/Faq forum, and finding a good commander is an excellent first step, if you already don't have one.

Pepl, the value of your UP should be what you're getting per day. If you multiply 9.375 by 48 you'll get 450.

User Guide wrote:Unit Production: This is the measure of how many untrained units you can generate per day/turn. Arguably THE most important stat in the game, since this will directly determine possible army sizes, income, covert, and indirectly determine weapon counts, motherships, etc - as all things require naquadah which these units generate (as do miners, which are trained from untrained units). This production can never be taken away by enemies. The cost of the next upgrade is always a bit more expensive than the last upgrade.

If you are just starting up now, don't worry about your mothership, focus heavily on your UP. You should be able to find a good commander in the Recruiting Section, who can help you out and show you the ropes.

I checked the SGW/TGW member map and saw two people from Poland: whesker and chaota.

I would suggest Pepl, that you have a look though the Newbie/Faq forum, if you haven't already, as it contains a lot of very useful information in announcements and in the stickies(the first 14 threads). It's a good place to post any questions you might have too(section of the forum set aside for questions like this). :)

To answer your questions though:
(1) You can't earn more attack turns, or rather not like you can increase your UP. You can attack for another resource(naq, UU) and trade then for turns on the markets. While your account won't be generating those turns on it's own for you, you will be doing the grunt work to get them yourself, thereby earning AT's. AT's are generated for each player at a rate of 6/hour or 3/turn, and this value cannot be increased.

(2) Basically, mothership can be used to attack of defend you realm, and to located and obtain planets. When purchasing a ms you will need to buy defense and attack slots and corresponding equipment to fix there. Similar to UP, the slots cost more and more each time you get one. The slots nor the ship can be destroyed in an altercation, buy the weapons(attack or defense) can. Fleets can be purchased for your ms that will do the work of taking a planet from another player, while as I understand the wording, when you find a planet floating in space your ms does all the work. The price tag is, from what I remember, 100,000,000 or 1B or something. I think right now you'd be better off spending that naq on UP(ie. get your UP nice and high, train UU into miners, make more naq, increase UP and other areas, etc.)

PPT = Protected Planets Treaty.

It is a 48 hour (2 day) prtection that you can buy or trade for your realm, which means for the 48 hours that you are under it, you cannot be attacked and you cannot attack others. Its like being in a giant protected bubble.

Many people use this if they want to not bank for 2 days, or if they have to go away for the weekend and don't want to be made into a farm.

PPT can also be used in wars to to stop the enemy from Destroying your deffence or atleast postpone them from doing so.

There is also Vac mode which put you on PPT this doesnt cost and you can go on for any length of time, but duering this time your realm will not produce anything so no naq,UU etc.

Pepl wrote:How can i have 6 AT/T?

Every player only generates 3 turns(or attack turns) per 30 mins. In order to get 6AT's you just need to wait for one hour and you'll have six more than you did an hour ago. There is no way to increase the number of AT's you generate each 30 mins.
