i think if we used linear interpolation to work out the median defence size in TA, we would have a much clearer picture of whats really going on here......

I can provide more information. There is one defense over a tril in Omega (RahL)...the rest are below 400 bil, 3 of the remaining 4 are below 30 bil.

There are 19 defenses in TAF above a tril...five of which are over 10 tril.
