YES! Indeed, our cab driver spent more time on the sidewalk than on the road

Still Rome is top notch for a city to just get lost in. Just start walking in a direction in the downtown and see what you find! Every street corner seemingly had a beautiful basilica or cathedral on it. Was pure pleasure for someone who loves history as much as I do.

Oh and having pizza in front of the Pantheon? Can't top it :D

Don't really remember as it was about ten years ago now...but I think it was a combo or something. I would imagine he would have gone a bit slower if it was per minute. Now I guess to be on topic...a picture of me

Plus my lovely Oakland, PA:

My school from above:

Now you may ask why it took me so long to post something eh? Well I just figured out that my digital camera runs on double A batteries...after 3 years...yep.

You live in Pittsburgh? I was just there yesterday. Sister went to CMU, tons of relatives live around there. Allison Park, Shady Side, Fox Chapel etc etc.

Some places you have to see before you die:

Egypt - 1st pic is obvious, 2nd was in the desert near Aswan/Abu Simbel:

Paris - pretty obvious too:

Greece - 1st pic is at Delphi, 2nd is in Athens:

Rome - the Forum:

You have to go and see some of these places ;)

Egypt and Greece are on my to do list, ive been to a load of places in Europe, but there are many many to go. Italy I am going to in October to the best of my knowledge, or sometime rather soon (I am over 1/4 Italien..), Paris I have been too twice.

I will throw up some pictures of New Zealand for you to drool over. It does not have the spectacular architecture of the old world, but the views and beyond are above fantastic. Most of the other places I have been I was focused more in enjoying myself and being youthful than taking pictures, I actually generally regret it. I have been to 14 different countries, and I only have pictures from Hong Kong, New Zealand, Czech Republic, perhaps one or two from USA (L.A..) and the UK (where I live..).

I do believe I can get my hands on some from France and Belgium from when I went round all the world war II places. I sung in the cathedral at Ypres and was part of the parade at the Menen Gate, the WW battlefields I would strongly recommend anyone to visit. The monuments at the Somme and the Menen Gate itself are truly a spectacle, as too is the bunker graveyard at Vimmy Ridge, standing near the trenches of flanders, where supposedly Wilfred Owen wrote his famous poem and of course seeing the Hawthorn crater... ok then.. *opens photo album* lets see what I can drag up from the past.. some of these will not be amazing because I am a crap photographer in general practise...

ok.. firstly.. New Zealand...

These are all from Queenstown.
This is Baldwin Street, the Steepest street in the world so I am told...(A picture from the top!)
Image
One from the harbour at the city of Nelson (north part of the South Island)
Image
The NZ government building in Wellington. They were having Anthrax scares when I took this...(tid bit.. lol)
Image
The shores of the South Island..
Image

Image
A few from Prague..
Image
One of the old gates, leading towards the old town square (yes, lot's of old things, called 'old'..lol. The second, newer square is called Wensler Square I believe, though I probably have spelt it wrong..)
Image
A picture of the old town square. The building in the middle is the town hall, provides a great view.. but not as good as the one you get from climbing the 284 steps of the cathedral (I think it was 284..).
Image
During my first visit to Prague, in my very youthful days (the ripe age of 12! lol..), we joked that this was in fact a monument to the Nazgul, however it is a monument to the beggers of the city streets..
Image
This is the Cathedral inside the castle, I have sung in there.. indeedy! Very nice looking place, certainly by no means the biggest and best looking Cathedral I have been in, but still impressive.
Image
The very grandiose church at the back of the old town square.
Image
A very very blurred view of the castle at night. Tyber Zann (tom twin) found ourselves regularly wandering the streets until 3-4am. The amount of drugs we turned down..
Image
The castle during the day..still not so good. OO! You can see Tom's head in the foreground.. lol.
Image
One of the world famous Prague bridges.
One or two taken from random points of my old school and college.
Image
Image
Image
the final picture is one taken across the road from my home in Fleetwood, taken from the roof of a 1970's stone bus shelter XD.
Image
So yeah, a few pictures... thats my 4 years of contribution there!

An old photo dated from august 2008, but still worth it.

PS: I took the picture, of course..

Not surprising to see such cars in my capital, but to have a set of them fitting in a picture is another thing..

Well regular S-Class Mercedes I almost see them every day..but well still good to have an AMG S-Class in picture heh. Whole lot of 3 cars worth about 400,000 € more or less I think..
