hey what's up.. im not new to this game .. i've been playing for a while.. but kinda lost track of it for like 6 months.. im back playing and i've ascened and am rebuilding to have my second ascension massive.. and im just starting to get on these forums.. so ill see everyone around...

i am new here, and how u can see, i am a tauri.

i am a normally a defense kind of guy, but for some reason that i dont know, i play as a offensive player now.
let me tell u guys that this game is good, i mean, u make ur own kind of playing (of course) and u choose how much time u want to spend on it (with the UP)
i ve been playing for a matter of days and have some questions, if u dont wish to answer it, its ok, but just in case, here there are:

right now, i am dedicate just for attack, ive been stolen naq between 80.000.000 and 150.000.000 and i made a little army (just 200 NID). in other games would say that i am on a higher lvl, that i should "camp" for a while. but here says nothing, the only thing i made was get me from the last pages into the page 258 (between the 7.000 ranks)... thats not good ...right???? i am in deep sh****t????.... i dont know

the other thing is i have the mercs tech in the 50%, and i cant hire mercs, i dont know where (this one is pretty easy to answer, sorry but i am lazy and there is thousand of pages here in the forums, and until now i found nothing)

the last one and more important: i untrained all my miners (for fear, i belive that i grow to fast and i dont have the neccesary skills) and put into soldiers.... not defensive, only attackers. (tauri = offensive bonus and weaker defense). in that way, i dont get naq, just to not get attacked and destroyed.
my UP is now 1075. i want to put into SS with all the weapons and into anticovert agents. nothing in defense (as i said before) and covert agents.
when i have enought, i planning to attack and just take the naq.
its that ok? or i need a reset and start over.
i dont know, if the most experianced players can help me with this ill be thankful

Hi Juan and welcome to the game. First of all I want to say that I had a fair deal of trouble sorting out the question in your post. Maybe becasue I am writing exams now, but I think it would be easier on people to number the of bullet them(ie. using these chanracters1, 2, 3, -, *). THe newbie faq forum has "stickies" at teh top of the page with good tips, and ways to build your realm. Give it a read if you have the chance, as a lot of questions are answered there, and it quicker to read than it is to type out your questions. So,...

1.) In order to move up in the ranks you need to focus on all areas of game play. That included atack, spy, covert, def, and tech upgrades, etc. If you spend all your time in one area you'll probably be hign in that area, but will have fluctuation in the other areas(you'll be jumping around in rank in those spots).
2.) Keep your miners. They make you naq, and naq makes your realm go round.
3.) You can build your army any way that you want to. A lot of players don't do anything for def, and just work on other areas.
4.) mercs are found when clicking on the link in your command centre, and then on the text that goes to the merc marketplace. Mercs are found at teh beginning of each turn and other players buy them very quickly. Do not be surprised when they are all gone in less than 2 minutes from the start of a new turn.

now u shoudnt worry about that... my problem is already fix.
i am no that weak at my posicion in rank,( that was my first concern).
spying some other players, i notice that my worse stats was my attack xD my defense is now great, (the best weapons for a not that small army). even when i say that ill not put defense, LoL again
and all i have to do was wait ...

New to the game, and looking to have fun, any one need an officer that can guide me along as I learn and kick some ass?

i earned about 42 millions and im playing for only a few hrs so im pretty much noobish so im wondering ;

is there any Allaince i could join ? i tried to join but there was no respond ..
or maybe an officer / commander just to help me out a lil bit ?
