Fabregas, Julio Baptista, Lampard
Drogba, Robben, Villa
with Robinho, Messi, Gerrard, Yaya Toure, Heinze, Van Bommel, Malouda, Gallas, Juan, Julio Cesar & Green as substitutes.
(nope, not Van Persie he didn't score

, as for Henry I'm not sure he's at top anymore, and Ronaldo well Jo doesn't like him lol)
Now, would anyone see the little joke I did in my post?

Hint: it's in the list of players who would deserve title of "all stars"/

Why would Spain vs Netherlands be a problematic match?

a better one would be Germany vs Israel...... the dramatic tension would be thick
Nah.. Germany would chicken out and fail to press their inevitable advantage.
Thriller wrote:I also think the Netherlands top grudge match wound be against Spain, would it not?
Not at all.

There's no grudge there. Our most recent trauma would be Germany.. and actually.. we've had our revenge.

As much surprising as it may sound for some, I don't mind England team, at all. Neither do I mind German team...

Why would Spain vs Netherlands be a problematic match?

Thats a terrible all star team

Messi and gerrard on the bench with baptista and drogba starting?
I'll not even start the list of players that would've at least made the bench
or is that your woeful fantasy team

Some games that would cause blood spill
Argentina vs England
SK vs NK
USA vs NK
Australia vs Italy so that Australia could win it like they rightly deserved 4 years ago
and did I hear someone say
Germany vs Poland?

As far as I know substitutes can add alot if they are picked in right time. *cough*Elia/Cacau*cough*
And considering explosive Messi style, when other side starts to get tired, his kind of game would do damages. And Gerrard is a skilled MF, and would revive MF in the match to keep team able to score once or twice in last minutes.
Drogba would play 30-35', then be replaced by Messi. Baptista replaced in 60th minute.
Don't throw all big boys first, let the reserve come to keep being on top all time. Considering it was meant to be against overpowered Germany.

Why would Spain vs Netherlands be a problematic match?

you sure have no about soccer. Cannavaro as right back? Cole as Centerhalve? Robben as CenterFoward?
Ideal team for me would be this(some of players not part of WC)
----------Cesar
Maicon, Vidič, Lucio, Zanetti
----Sneijder, Xavi, Iniesta
----Ronaldo, Milito, Robben

I didn't place them, just like fantasy football doesn't really place them..

If you don't know how fantasy football game works don't post.

Yeah but than you have two left fullbacks and and only one Centerhalve. And no need to quote one post above
