Brilliant comment Zeratul, and my thoughts exactly. Thank you.

Also, Rors, you have a peculiar perception of the show. And for the individuals slating Camille's plot ('the lesbian scene') so what? She's gay, get over it. Like Z said.

I wasn't picking on you for the lesbian comments Rors. I just found your views about the show a little obscured otherwise. It was one or two others who noted their apparent disdain over the lesbian thing. They're gay, great. So what. Lots of people find love in same sex relationships.

In terms of the cast, I like them all. My favourite character at the moment is Greer. The actor who plays him is phenomenal.

No one had an issue with them being lesbians, the problem was that they only existed to drive ratings.

I didn't have a problem with the lesbians, I have a problem with all the soap opera stuff and not enough Sci-Fi action that we have all come to love from Stargate.

it was... interesting...

its rather obvious that the ship rush is right under, is still operational, or able to be made operational, and that it will overtake destiny sometime in the first few episodes of the second half of the season... (considering that rush is part of all 20 episodes of the season...)

it will be interesting to see whether any of its crew are still on board (living or not), and what sort of internal tech they have...

one of the races we hope they encounter sometime, is the furlings... they were obviously highly advanced, yet not really present in the milky way... at least not in the last many thousand years... if not longer... or just kept every single world they have cloaked away, like the moon in "paradise lost"...
We highly doubt that though, as power requirements for hiding whole planets are extreme, let alone hiding many well enough to make it impossible for anyone to stumble across them by accident... our guess, is that they, like the ancients, moved on from the milky way, settling somewhere else... using the furlings will also save the producers the need from designing an entire race from scratch when they bring in advanced aliens to SG-universe...
Using a race on the level of development that the furlings are, also gives them the chance to have the race span several galaxies, making them viable for more than one galaxy... (and thus, many episodes)
whether or not the ship is furling is impossible to say at this point, but time will show...

we too doubt there are any living inside... we're just airing lots of options...

for that matter, the use of the chair might allow them to temporarily redirect the ship back to pick rush back up, but thats a bit too practical solution, wethinks... any real steering of the ship cant come that early...

I reckon Rush is going to use the ship to get back to destiny and the ship will have a hyperdrive (which presumably will be slightly faster than the FTL).

However.. realising it's be his word against Youngs he's not going to say anything.

However.. I think he'll be back next episode.

Either that ship can out run Destiny (he knows where it's going after studying the routes of the ships ahead)... he knows how to gate to the next planet Destiny are going to be at....

or something's going to happen and they'll go back/have to refuel.

if I read gateworld right.. SGU isn't back until April 2010!

That's just stupid... I could nuke all america for this insolence...

SGU - April
LOST - February 10th
V (2009) - ?
Heroes - ?
Star Wars Clone Wars - ?
Fringe - ?
House - ?

How annoying...looks like it's just me and Scrubs for the next two months as far as TV goes...
