In all seriousness, though, I think posting people's home addresses is crossing a line. It's relatively easy to find out people's telephone numbers too, but I still wouldn't want mine scrawled across the internet.

yes the difference between him and clarkey was that clarkey did not volunteer such information into public domain. HairyMeHoff freely chose to do so.

Wow, sgw is the internet, I didn't realize it was so huge. You ever put your credit card in to pay for something? That's on the internet. Should that be public?

Just cause something's on the internet doesn't mean it should be either shared, or it doesn't even mean its legal.

Signing up to a website does not necessarily mean that your personal information is public domain. Last i recall sharing anyones IP without permission is a violation of rules here. also i never recall using my physical Home Address to sign up to this forum. it is unnecesary. but someone got ahold of clarkeys personal information and posted it WITHOUT PRIOR CONSENT. there are rules here for a reason.

i mentioned IPs as an example. it was in response to your comments about anything submitted on the internet is public domain. I have yours thanks to your actions on my alliance forum, you wouldnt be too happy if i posted it here would you? just trying to put it down to a level you can comprehend.
