I waited for over an hour for the PPT to finish (and then for then for the "negative minutes" to disappear) took about 3 trillion from the precious few accounts that were off PPT, banked that, fixed my weapons and went back for more only to discover i had another 400 minutes of PPT.
I understand you guys are doing the best you can and you're doing a darn good job at that and frankly, I'm just happy the game is back online and i can at least log in and bank my naq, train my UU, whatever.....but i gotta kill something!

Either no one's PPT should end, or everyone's.. not this "if you're lucky, you can get a few hits in before we're all back on PPT". That defeats the whole purpose of a universal PPT.

She has a good point. If those accounts I hit were active, they're gonna be mighty surprised when they see they've been hit and yet still have ∞ minutes of PPT left.

your right it shouldn't be if your lucky you can get some in.... no one should be going back on ppt... i don't see why this one happened... no one i knew had a issue getting in...

Yes, but random people are dropping off PPT at turn change (not their own decision, just their PPT actually running out), and then are put back on by the game. These are the people on the narrow end of the 'PPT-spread'. Of course you can drop PPT yourself. But when you do that, you usually bank and all. These people do nothing, yet lose their naq because the 'universal PPT' does not cover everyone (specifically the people who didn't drop PPT themselves).


I mean, I'm all for freebies and all.. but this is going to be a nasty surprise for some people. I've seen people with over 10T out losing it (I know to whom) on turn change before being put on PPT again by the game.

Looks like the admin may have preemptively given us the PPT....I can't log into the game. Tried three times in 10 minutes on 2 different browsers. Getting ye olde "page cannot be displayed" error.

At this point i'm really getting the impression that admin is concerned about how the effect of mass farming during the farm fest effects the server... because every time PPT drops we gain more PPT.

Easy solution admin.

Bank EVERYONE'S naq, cancel ALL PPT's, and let the game run it's normal course... If you want it to get fully debugged, you're gonna need to let us actually play so we can find any other problems that might occur.. This is getting a bit wild. Heading towards 2 weeks of consecutive PPT..

Admin has already made it clear that during this time PPT will be given. It's not about whether the game goes down for a while, it's about admin fixing certain problems before people start using the game to it's full extent. Once those initial issues are resolved the PPT will end, thus morethanlikely resulting in a few new problems when the frustration that has built up turns i to key mashing.

Just cool it and wait for the game issues to finally be resolved.

took me five tries to log into gatewars after the latest bout of PPT hit and I was awarded with this error and promptly kicked off again.




EDIT: upon retry, i got this error: "Query failed: Table './gatewars_db/Activity_Log' is marked as crashed and should be repaired."

I think we're in for a lot more ppt....
