I take that every day lol. And I rather love the metro system. That one hundred years old network.
Taxis often tend to take anything but the shortest way to go from A to B. Having used taxis quite often I can validate this...
Anyway, you probably wouldn't like to live in Amsterdam, considering they plan to ban cars in the center of the town apparently, so it would be all about public transportation.

Sounds like there will be plenty of people there to make it worth while! I should be able to spend a little time with you on Sat if your not busy before I see my family!
