I think it will add some stratigy to everything. If you send it to back your ground troops you cant defend your planets, if you defend your planets you cant help your ground troops. If you send your MS out exploing it can't do either. If your MS is defending a planet, and a second attacker hits another planet it can not defend both, just the first. If it defends a planet it stays in that planets orbit for 1 full turn and can not defend another planet or be sent into battle until that turn ends.
Just my thinking on it, but meh

Well currently players with 10 planets have no option of sending their MS out, so how about a garrison button (or long range scan of home galaxy)that has to be clicked once every 24 hours?

Yes this is another point which really isn't fair. Anyone with 10 planets can not att anyonelses planets. Another situation of I can attack you, but you can't attack me. Unbalanced.
And making it an option for only people with 10 planets is an option I guess.

Yeah i like both lores and generals ideas, hope something will come of this, would like lore said bring some strategy to the game, which is very lacking at the moment.

I honestly feel like the only stratigy left in SGW main is alliance stratigies

And hey something for everything, for the planet pirates.... Use 3 market turns.
I dont see how they use their covert turns and spy our good planets and auction OUR (SELF MODDED) PLANETS. I mean if we wanted to sell em wouldnt we sell em ourselves?????
Lets have a SGW public holiday. Instead of Groundhog day, lets have Pirate day.

Im not so bothered about pirates in the game, i think it adds a little something to the game, everyone has a part to play, i think having pirates/planet theifs makes it more fun.

Lore, not that i like your ideas
i admire them
Actually most of ideas about MS here are awsome... but guys, who will program this! It is impossible to copy past our imagination into source code...

A honest planet theif who actually plays and builds his account, I do not mind. Multis who sell 1 to 10 planets and then delete, aggervate the pants off me.

Totally agree Lore mate, if they are honest players and only have 1 account then they are good to have in the game. Multis are probably the biggest disappointment in the game.

That can be countered by attacking a different planet with 1 fleet first then buying a fleet and going for the desired target, so wouldn't be much better, lol

L was thinking maybe you could have like a tick box, if you dont tick the box the m/s stays behind to defend planets, tick it and it joins in the massing.
Another thing i dislike is not being able to mass down planets just because i have 10 already, i think you should be able to mass the defences just be unable to take it, you should have more options with your m/s, its so limited.
