How can anyone say he did a good or bad job?

The mods didn't give him a chance as soon as they saw he was going to be fair. Once they saw one of their own being showed publicly how wrong they were he was demoted from his postition.

I say give him another chance.

Thanks Jedi but I do not wish to return. The position is only a lie the moderators/forum-admins made to give the community the impression of free speech and representation.

Had I not of been insulted, and someone else was, I would have done the same thing and they would have immediatly kicked me again. There is no way to stand up to the mods on the forums. The only thing to do is take it ingame.

So? Everyone rebuilds after a massing.. It's nothing new, yet people do it all the time.

Aslong as some damage is inflicted, I will be happy.

You are allowed to speak, for now anyway, but if you say something they don't like, your gone. I wish you luck Jack.

Agapooka wrote:The argument that Spacey called Eros a woman is baseless and ridiculous and I would urge anyone reading this to consider the logical postion that no justification was needed as the context was self-evident to all but anyone with irrational and vengeful emotions.

Spacey simply referred to the Ombudsman section as being a section that is to be managed by the "ombudsman/woman," whoever they may be, in acknowledgement that the holder of that position is not permanent and could possibly be a woman in the future. Spacey's statement is one that, women would agree, is being fair to both genders.

One would be grabbing at straws to think otherwise, and in desperate need for some sort of undeserved revenge. Spacey can stay or leave as he desires, as long as this ridiculous story bears no weight in the decision. I can understand how some people would be sick of this place.

That and... Eros sent a board warning to Wolf359 for moving a thread o.o

What has Freesprit done to the community, the stir he has caused time and time again, making false accounts and abusing his position? Was allowed to Keep the position.

Dadigi. massive stir and community uproar, still mod likewise. Made a *MASSIVE* fuss of not being called a woman. Same thing. Was allowed to Keep the position.

Auriel would've been fired- take my word for it (thats one thing as ombudsperson i could've done or influenced to change)

FS went to Jason and JASON himself put FS back after FS resigned and tried to back out of but smoos said sorry u resigned

Dadigi has made change since, and I, someone who was strongly against Digi think he's alright now.

Eros you needed out because you couldn't seperate pride from duty.
Jack will make a very good replacement.

This is why Semper would have been the better candidate...

Probably the biggest load of horse manure I have ever seen on this forum, and I have been here since the very beginning.

Never have I see such a small and insignificant POLITICAL CORRECTNESS blown way out of proportion and spun so un-intellectually.

Sorry if this is rude, but frankly Eros, your insulting everyone intelligence just by suggesting it was more than a mere formality. You're either poorly educated or you have a learning disability that stops your brain from being able to process simple concepts. (If this is the case then I will apologize because its just not right to tease the disabled)

Also, I find it insulting that you find being called a WOMAN so insulting.
I'm a woman, and I'm quite happy about it too. Its certainly nothing to be insulted about if someone where to call you that... that is of course if you weren't insecure about yourself or your sexuality. Are you Eros?

Spacey was right when he said Ombudsman/woman, as one day, it may come to be that I, or another person of the WOMAN category are voted into the position and therefore, to spare us all of the technicality which may later arise, he puts in a "/woman". ... Grow yourself the hell up you child.

The village has called and it wants its idiot back.

Thank god you were removed.

Jack, the only way is up from here 8)

I was not addressing a complaint, I made a positive suggestion on how to improve the Respect Group. Is there a rule in the ombudsman manual that says you cannot make suggestions or have opinions?

Ero`Sore wrote:Because many people who are not respected or unknown are in the group. If the group ever wants community respect, it needs to clean house...

respect group pledge wrote:"members who join this usergroup therefore make a pledge to honor their enemies, desist from posting abusive posts on the forums, minimize swearing. and in general. work on building the community into a good one."

so, you make a suggestion about improving a group, without even knowing what the group is about?
that strikes me as more ignorant, than helpful.

Psi.. how is it, that every word you say echoes in the place where my heart used to be? :)

Also indeed, isn't a warthread between every woman on SGW vs Ero`Sore something we can expect in not too long a time? His misogynist nature is repetitively proven in these thousands of threads.. my, my.. can I at least say it once? "I told you so.."

Still, I hope and trust Jack'll do a great job. :) At least he'll be able to outlast his trials, I'm sure.

Now, if someone could get FreeSpirit to say something witty? I think it is time.
