how about we compromise? reinstate the factions in a more alliance/guild type factiony thing, instead of the forced religion/standerd styles it used to be? that way even spam wars and the old skool spam RPGing can make a come back while leaving it optional to the newbies and the neos or anyone else that dont wanna join

I'm not going to explain that(my use of the term "my spammers") to you, Alex. Why? Because it's beyond your comprehension. However should there actually be someone else that would like me to explain it to them, then they're free to PM me and ask.

As for the community, it includes everyone in the Temple, but you yourself have always chosen not to be a part of it, it was your choice to oppose us, it's your choice to continue opposing us, don't whine when you're looked at as an outsider.

The simple fact is, no one's ever told them they couldn't have factions, we've only ever said they couldn't try and force others to go by their factions. They can't be trying to force people to bow down to them.

I listened to that arguement too Jack.

Some have said that the objective was never to rule anyone, that that was a mistake of a few people, but that point is ignored and the arguement is still used.

As someone once told me: "the bottom line is that.." there are problems with people working productively to come to a resolution in this.

Like I said, you don't know the whole story, if you did you'd feel differently.

Of course I agree with Zekks.

Unfortuanitly jack, contradictory to what you say, "your spammers" which they aren't, they aren't anyones spammers. Now you sit and call me some sort of dictator yet here you are trying to call everyone in the spam community yours.

Secondly every spammer is a member of the community, just because you, osi, and velya see me as an outsider means nothing. The only difference is I have the manners not to post my thoughts on you.

Now, finally I've noticed that whenever I prove you wrong or show your contradictions to yourself your always respond the same by saying "It's beyond your comprehension" and such, if you really knew anything you would be able to respond and not get so defensive and lash out with E-words that hurt people's e-feelings.

I might side with Jack on this just cause Alex would be on the other side....

I agree with hidden, it seems you say others have low comprehension, however whenever something is thrown back into your face, and you don't know how to react you play the "I don't have to explain myself to you" card.

I understand what your saying Jack, the problem is you aren't proving any points. Everything you've said about me; causing the problems, and being an outsider are random, to say the least.

Besides all of that Jack, here you call me an outsider, that I try to dictate the forums and force the factions on others... Yet here YOU are in a thread that has NOTHING to do with YOU, and here YOU are trying to dicatate what WE do as though your opinion has merit.

Now Jack, I hope you will realize that this isn't a Jack come flame us thread, its a news article, end of conversation.

I'll say this simply

Im a Neo yes.
To me that means being able to post what you want when you want and how you want, within the rules of the temple. if i wanna answer a post with smiley i'll do so, if i wanna go off on a tangent or into some random direction guess what i'll do that too.

The temple is not a waste basket, the dump is, thats why its called the dump. Its where i come to have a little fun after work, and to talk to ppl that i like to talk to. Heck i have even agreed with Osi in a few random conversations, and he if no one else's personality grinded against mine.

Sadly though Alex, you ignite , annoy and seem to do your best to piss off those around you, now this might be because your still a youngling, or just your attitude.

mind you this is all my opinion and, you'll likely blow it off, but no im not flaming you, just stating how i see things.

Jack is the most active elder spammer, as well as ombudsman's. he is the medium between spammer and mod, the chosen representative of the forum users and spammers.

this thread has everything to do with him.

and more then that, you are an outsider. you almost never spam, and thus arent recognized as an active spammer here anymore.

plus, this thread is about three third faction members, two of which are inactive spammers, declaring the reinstatement of the factions. theres a few problems with this.

first, you guys had no authority to disband all factions in the first place, they stay'ed just fine as defined styles after that. so reinstateing it is pointless.

second, this is more like declaring the come back of the old factions, which dictated the temple(s) and cuased alot of wars.

so far, it seems you guys are playing dictator on a stage in front of an empty crowed.

finally, cant we all just get along? im tired hot and horny, and ive already given my best idea on this subject. next comes the temper...or wait, i already gave some of that this post... oh well.

Second, you are assuming that his only encomposes third faction spammers. In that assumption you would in fact be wrong.

Third, I may be looked on as an outsider by you, Jack and his 2 friends that make up his band of merry tavelers, however you should know zekk that a few peoples opinions don't make fact. Especially when there are plenty of others that don't see it that way.

As for being as you say the chosen rep. for the spammers there are little results. He will argue to the contrary but when you look at it, there simply arn't any improvments. Once more what if any improvments that are made by him are done with his intrests, not that of any of the faction spammers.

So I say again this DOESN'T concern him or you. Finally I would like to just point out how amusing it is for YOU to call me a dictator in defence of Jack, when here jack is in this very thread trying to dictate what we do.

osi or not. its still all third faction members involved. you guys made a thread saying you disbanned the third faction, it was ignored, and now your trying to reinstate something that never really left. guess what, it makes you all look like blind fools.

a few peoples opinion? we say what we say because were some of the few that remember you. your a part time spammer at best, yet here you are trying to do things that only a full time active spammer should be doing.

they're have been plenty of changes, one of the major of which being the stoping of temple nukeings. did you think the mods were just lazy in deleting threads lately?

this concerns everyone, especially me as vice commander of the fourth faction. by saying that it doesnt concern me or jack or anyone else, it shows that your trying to single people out and dictate how things work.

jack isn't a dictator, he's a leader that helps keep the temple running on the border of rules and spammer desire. and there's noone in the temple that could do it better then him, no matter what you say or think.

out of interest how would we define an active spammer, and for that matter a spammer as being "part of the community"

if people are going to continue to say "your not part of the community so you don't count blah blah blah", i would like a definition of what we all consider to be the roles and responsibilities of a community member?

You didn't direct this to me but I want to answer. I make no distinction with someone being active or not. The community for me consists of forum members, and if you have an account you are one of them. That is what being "part of the community" is about for me.

I'd not like to define "active spammer". What we have seen here is that it's an exclusionary term, and if anyone remembers my veto of posting youtube links because some spammers couldn't see them, a goal of my is for greater unity and inclusion amongst spammers.

So, I haven't defined 'active spammer' or the roles and responsibilities, but spoke to the community part.
