the fact of the matter is... people have been playing this game for a while now... and back in the day when this game first came out nobody had anything... and pushed and worked hard... and they got where they are today... so you can't say that now they have to give it all up because you want everything to be fair... you should have joined the game sooner and worked hard and then you would be closer to everyone else... heres an idea... why don't you tell Bill Gates he has to give up Microsoft just because he makes more money than most people dream about in their entire lifetime and see if you don't get hit with the stupid stick...

ok ill do that ,that sounds about fair aswell tnx, no what im saying is no chance ov ever beeing rank1 cos u started last that sucks or maby even a reset every year thats would settel everything and make it better to play alot closer and harder to get rank1 what about that1 then.....

There are many ways of getting to that fabled No. 1 position if you think about it. Join/start an alliance designed to off the top player, then seize the spot for yourself. Get lots of friends to join up as your officers and get an insane UP count - that's a good way of catapulating yourself into a position of power. Or you could not bother about getting into Rank 1, and instead focus on somehting else, like Ascending. Or having fun - Esker style!

if you think about it and do some number crunching its not that hard to play catch up with the big boys you just need to be wise about your game dont make fast dissions and everyone says it for a reason UP AND UU ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING once that has got through to you which i dont think it has yet or you would'nt of made this topic and being in the top 20 is'nt that great strike action of 8billion try farming with that MASSIVE REPAIRS so no more attacking when your up there

As with damage to weapons and loss of soldiers when attacking or defending (The more you have the more that can be killed) Why not introduce certain kill off points above a certain ammount of UU

I.E.

Gould ----- Slave Rebelion
Replicators ------- Destroyed by disruption wave
Tauri ------- Reasigned due to change in President (or killed of by a virus)
Asguard ------- Computer crash (loss of stored minds)

all of these can be tied into attacks that are performed by other players (successful or not) the fewer UU you have the less chance or no chance of this happening. This would also be tied into the ranking structure whereby if a player ranked #1 attacked a player ranked #150 the UU losses would not be initiated.

Lastly the chances of causing any loss of UU should be done on a percentage basis
i.e.
player #1 attacks player#5 , only military damage occurs on 5 occassions, on the 6th (or random generated point) x damage occurs to UU and also of a random value not exceeding 5% of current UU held by that player. There should also be a weeks interval to prevent continuous UU damage.
So If I attack another player 100 times in a week I can do military damage but only UU damage once. This should also be tied into alliances to prevent abuse by groups. so group (((999))) have a total UU attack capability of 1 per week against a single player.

This Is just an idea folks.

It's seems alot like raid, only nerfed and 'fairer' for the newer players.... I Certaintly want to actualy be able to 'harm' a realm, and this seems to be a good comprimise since it would be very hard to kill off an acount, and yet it would certainly cause some mega infighting up top... Just drop the Alliance limit, you'll have some new member setting it off all for an ineffective attack.

a mill limit to men then um the bank would have to be hugh for the spy levels 22 and above i needed 2 ppts (and borrowed 4 mill naq) with 1 mill men to get 22 and 23 damn it would take 8 days on ppt which is way to many days to borrow men for (bad idea for the limit because coverts are costly for players)

(um i havnt read the last few post on this only the first page mainly straped for time at the moment)

Actually, it's more like 2.2 bill approx for 800k uu, and that's Goa'uld rates...

minus the money for officers - most of the higher players give officers 30%.


They can buy only 50k from the market, and only 3 times per week.


And I agree totally with you. A 1bill uu limit is fine with me, like you suggested.

in relation to your comment about the banking system, I agree a compromise would have to be reached but that can also be done on a naq purchase system so if you have 30k and a bankability of 100 mill then you can upgrade your bank limit much in the same way you increase UU, you don't get a mass increase but a percentage based on your untrained units, so the more untrained the more banking, less Untrained less banking but still at a higher limit than before.
I would reccommend that the cost per increase in percentage of bankability remain relative to the ammount of UU you have.
That way new players won't be as taxed for upgrades as more advanced players just like with merc control
