JJG - If anyone can recall this guy, he was a mod on the forums too.
When I first started playing back in Feb 2005, I had no idea what any button did and nothing was getting me anywhere, so I was PM'ing him constantly asking him if he knew what was going on. He did well in teaching me what to not do and what to do.
He was at the time rank 2 or 3, somewhere around there. I didn't want to go with the rank 1 guy, because I didn't like his name, and I saw he already had more than enough officers (maybe 12).
Just to edit slightly: I think that's its really only wise to have a commander if your relatively new to the game, or if you're looking for protection (AKA anyone who has an omegan as a commander). Otherwise, you're losing potential uu.

Ok on a serious note.
Bioslaya was the best commander ever.
We still keep in touch via email even after she left main over 2 years ago.
She taught everything.

It was about six months ago. Can't remember his name, but he was the leader of Omega SL, but sold his account. Good guy.

I'm gonna go with General Brew. not the greatest ingame wise, but she was awesome to talk to and helped me get to where I am, so... tara if you're out there.. thanks!

Hehehe.. Gen Brew is my rl gf... best friend ever... glad you got to be a part of her while she was here. I have to say, I've only had two main COs... one was scum, who used my newbishness for his gain... the other has been by far the best commander I could imagine... love ya dear.

I don't know....
There was Esker, who first intoduced me to some of the happenings of SGW politics
There was Jedimasterx, who gave me the first experience of massing someone, actually
it was clean up phasing of players(long time ago), some sabbing...
Now there is Ra, who has a very good Protection Policy and all around good old friendly person.....to his officers at least.

my best commander i have ever had and none can compete is FunEFarm she helped me when i was just a wee account helped me through my ascentions and may not be my commander no but we still talk and she is great fun
