I'm rambling a bit cuz I'm a bit hung-over but the point is... noobs building giant defenses is kinda pointless and angers some people. thats why they get massed... to "teach" them a lesson.
(but mostly for the military experience)

id read the post again if i was you....he had a 70mill'ish army size and only didnt ascend because he had had a previous LG+1 account with over 60 mill army size he gave away for free to another player befote he came back to the game and just couldnt be arsed ascending 6 times all over again....

as a footnote i also think its impossible to have a trill defense unascended with only 10 mill army size...let alone 50 bill out....

in response to massing who u like...thats fine....but then add alliance politics (i.e. one being in uber alliance can mass a very weak one to hearts content)...the fact your so many times bigger and massing accounts so many times smaller....go mass peeps your own size if your bored....

in a word i just find the example i gave 'distasteful' imo....

you want a challenge and prove yourself to the server?...then set yourself higher goals than building M/exp off the back of easy targets knowing you wont get come back because of backing and station....

thats all ill say on the matter....

As I have said before in the educators thread we do mass big players as well.They just don't come crying on the forum

I must say there is nothing wrong with massing people at random but when you just go mass people like that they get mad because they didn't expect it and it will set there growth and plans back a lot. I know if i was massed for no reason at all i would be pissed off and i know that you dazman would of been pissed off as well if you got massed when you were small. I also know that you only mass dazman now to really raise your military experience and for fun i guess. I see some of the people you mass and most of them are way smaller than you so i don't really see you massing people that will actually mass you back. Plus you are in alpha and then if they mass you they might fear that they might mass back. What i would like to see is if you left your alliance and massed someone in omega empire and you will see what it would be like to the people you massed.

Cause they understand it only the small little folks who come out crying like babies. Which yeh fair enough losing a lot of your size when small would hurt but oh well its part of the game.

Hmm.. as for massing people while being in a super alliance, I massed people when I was in Alpha.. I mass people while I'm in FAHQKD....

And it's also not just small people we've massed, a few days ago I massed someone 4x bigger than me lol.

And.. on top of that. I got massed many times when I was smaller. Unknown massed me on my 2nd week playing the game way back when. It happens. Get over it.

I m massed all the time... maybe i should get my own emo thread where i can cry mslelf to sleep.

I think the problem is simple, untill a person is massed... they keep building and building that shiny def having more and more spies cause the more the better right?

after they are massed they realise those shiny stats can be lost for good... so they are a bit more carefull on how much they put in...

so techicly it would make more sence to mass them while they are small, and have less to loose. True proportionaly a 40mil guy with 20mil in loosablees looses the same as a 200mil guy with 100mil in loosables... but "raiding back" 20mil or 100 mil is a difference, if not anything else, in time spent doing it.
