But in my opinion there is no best player


because there are different types of best players in the game...

Stat Builders,
War Accounts,
Making Friends,
People Who Caurse Trouble,

In all due fact we all are best players because we have all made a inpact in this game, if it wasnt for people who caused trouble in the game.. the game would be boring to much peace. If people didnt play to make friends we wouldnt be able to mass together and have a laugh together. Then there is war accounts, if people didnt go around massing ramdon people we wouldnt go to war and have a laugh are argue with each other... Stat builders, its funny to mass stat builders to nock everything they have grown

but in my mind to define the best player is impossible because we have all put inpact on this game... even me, ive caused alot of trouble but got to high places in my past. I wouldnt change anything i have done. Maybe some of you would but thats your opinion Well like i said its not about power, army size or alliances...

Surely you'd define the best players as those with the greatest chaacter and ability to role-play. Those who understand the dividing line between what is real and what is fictional, but whom, can also integrate itt seemlessly.

Shame it's no longer the common habit of people to separate game and reality. Aside from a few good men, nowadays all you get is complainesque colloquialisms, insults to your RL and whatnot. Aside from a few good men, you'll have a hard time finding people who have found and stuck to a good role for roleplaying. It definitely hit a new low with people bringing in personae from Earth History, instead of SG f-canon.. no longer claiming godhood, like EtL and ESKER, but falling back on simply claiming superiority by calling on historical empires with some reputation of power.

Ah well.. the times, they are a-changing.. always.

As an abundance of players have already made clear, the term 'best player' is impossible to define. The main reason for this being that different players aspire to different ideals, and have differing notions as to what makes a player 'good.'

I find it difficult to clarify my own thoughts on the subject. For me, the best player isn't the one with the biggest account, the most forum posts or the strongest alliances. I think that whilst the very best players in the game may excel in these areas, they also need to have something more. Something which transcends all of that and elevates them to legendary status.

I also don't think there's a single "best" players.. but the one whose impacted me the most, and whose SGW career is the benchmark to which I aspire, would have to be Esker.

The best player? Someone who doesn't go running around massing noobs, but when the time comes will stand by his alliance mates and do his best for the alliance

I think you got it there right on the head IN MY OPINION.

Someone who is always ready to help an alliance mate, not afraid to lose resources in a fight for what they believe is right, and is man/woman enough to admit they were defeated through superiour strenght or resouces.

Also, someone willing to give their resources and skills to help the new players gain power and respect!

We have one such player in DBZ, though he left our alliance for a vendetta, (another point). He has been our greatest warrior, and our greatest diplomat. We hope he returns soon

on the discusion, like pointed out by several already Its hard to show just one because there are too many aspects to the game that you can simply say thats the one... Its a bit like sayn some1 is the happiest person in the world... it depends on the definiton of happines, and also the variables you use to measure it.

I ve had my share of game play arround, and while i can say that most stuf i did i did quite well be that being a crazy raider who burned over 30k turns on daily basis, or a crazy farmer, masser... even had my share of diplomacy/leadership and even thoug i hate it badly.... i dont think i did too poorly..

Yet it would be hard for me to say objectivly or subjectivly.. i was the best on either of those areas..

It realy comes down to, either youre happy with the choices youve made, and do you still find it fun and relaxing, or are you starting to stress over it.. As long as youre happy, what others think matters not

Now this topic is no suppose to be about naming names or alliances so try to refrain from that.

Now the question I am posing is how does everyone define the best player in the game and why.




For me the best player in this game comes down to who has the strongest will in this game and do to the way this game is set up a player that has and is willing to put quite a bit of time into this game. My reasoning behind this is that in this game stats mean nothing as most people know and so with that rank means nothing but you have something to mass. Now one could argue that army size could be the strongest though the reason I choose not to make this important is the fact that anyone over 50mil army size could potentially mass almost anyone in this game or any LG over 100mil army size could mass anyone in this game. So this is why I choose will and time as my factors for who is the best.

So what does everyone else think makes the best player?

The best player in the game is the one who can do what ever he or she wants when ever he or she wants to do it.

Nothing to do with Stats.

Its all about who you know, and how much you know.
