Cynical, are we? It's a bit too easy to be cynical these days, especially with the impending destruction of the world.

I'm not here to sweep anything under the carpet. That's what people who take this game (and any form of so-called "entertainment") too seriously do to the real world. They ignore what's going to change their lives. How smart. How amazing. How deserving of my respect.

EDIT: This isn't directed at anybody specifically, because there are just too many that fit the description.

hmm... how many among those complaining about auriel are active in the race and misc sections?

so far, auriel has not proven to be a terrible mod, but we know not whether she is good either, as she hasnt modded misc long enough for us to see any tendencies...

also, you people can choose not to believe her words or such... just because someone is (in your eyes) not worth believing, does not make it so that that person cant mod...

we prefer not to insult anyone here in public (or outside public for that matter...)

if she is a terrible mod, she wont last long...

if she can do the mod job ok, then who cares wat she says/does ingame, as long as no rules are broken, lieing is a viable tactic to get the upper hand.

I "laugh" every time people call Auriel a scammer because she has been the person I sent my stuff before ascending every time, and, OF COURSE, she always returned everything without any problem. Because saying she's a scammer to me is like saying Schwarzy is a democrat! It's lies.
You won't find any trader she traded with who will say she's a scammer. Very trustful person in general she's. Otherwise I don't see why I and others would support her...

Mod please lock this load of flaming, it gives shame to this forum to have such topic still open.

Auriel made a few mistakes in the past, the whole coma thing was obviously way over the limit, she got crushed in game and on the forums for it at the time.

I wasn't pleased when i found out Auriel was Elladan and had been made a mod, but as i said at the time, prove your up to the job and who knows.

I admit her long winded posts sometimes annoy me, but she's been a reasonable mod and i'm not going to let a mistake she has paid for and apologised for be an excuse for yet another witch hunt on a mod.

As for Tok'Ra then he pissed off jason, he's gone, plain and simple. People who know jason from the admin meetings know he's an easy going guy who tries his best for the game even if people have hisssy fits pretty much every time he changes stuff. It really says it all that Tok'Ra annoyed him so much that he has the dubious honour of being he only person who has had his in game account deleted over his forum antics.

i wasnt present on forum when the problem happened with auriel, but for what i know her, she's not a bad person.
i dont care if she's mod or not, at main forum is only a part of the game.

but i have a question : how the hell is it possible to say it when u'r in coma ?

She pretended to be in a coma. And also if i remember correctly she used to pretent to be ETL on other similar games until she got caught then came here and played the coma scam so she obviously didnt learn the first time which is why i question if she has the second time she got cought.

Personally i'm so peeved off because i actually worried about her, always checking in on the thread for updates and such as many people were only to turn out she was playing everyone for fools.

And on topic, whats wrong with the game today? Same as every other day lol, though its not the game imo just the forums, too much spam/flaming/abuse/over-modding/biased-modding/corrupt admin etc

calm down pop. auriel is a good person no matter what wrong she did in the past. of course, there are some people who will forever think of her as a scammer. There's nothing you can do about that. Best thing to do is to count your friends and consider yourself lucky.

Yes you are right.
I consider myself lucky anyway to have someone like her as a friend.

After what coma girl did, what second chance would she get in a real life position? I dont know of anyone that would hire her after that. People would not want to be associate with her at all fullstop end of it. Hey obviously some certain people here who base their life on being a mod think she is great. I know why dont send her a little crown to wear so she can feel special?
