I had a 'modest' happiness rank yesterday of 33rd.
In the one day I went to 124th. That is a huge lost of UU and Naq.

Can the one day difference be made up?
I make 226,576,000 Happiness per turn.
It will take 4,895 days(10.5+ Years) to make it up.
That seems somewhat of a challenge to meet this wave.

I would like to see a 'correction' made:
On the 22nd after the option has been removed:

Query who got the extra Market Happiness(An easy select parameter considering the numbers)

Remove the amount of Happiness bought on day one of update.
Add UU back to said accounts.
Add current Daily AT or UU to account in exchange for that day.

This way the playing field gets leveled and those people affected by this action still receive a slight bonus for being lucky.

EDIT: just saw the new Update. Nevermind. :)
Thanks Forum

ok - all threats and such aside...
i did look at the before/after picture ... it was .. ummm.. slightly imbalanced :)

i hate 'rollbacks' so thats out.

i could leave the market option in for 10 days so that the 'one day difference' is 10% ... or 20 so it is 5% -- if everyone chose that option....but that would be a wacky one time benefit thing that really does not fit how quantum waves should work...

so....

i have removed the market option.
i have reversed all trades which means:
1) take away gained happiness
2) give back miners that were used to buy happiness
3) give back the daily market turn. Yes - this means some will have more than one turn per day for a day or 2...
4) wait for ranks and such to update at turn change :)

those that got the 'temporary happiness' (is not all happiness really only temporary?) did benefit from the day or 2 of higher bonus. so that is the real reward for the extra trip to market :)

i trust this will make everyone happy, or at least equally unhappy -- and now onto the other updates... do i need to adjust values there? or are they doing ok?

(and beta in quantum is kinda pointless as each week is really quite different than the last for balance, etc -- its too quick moving...to accurately test everything... it is a looser style of play, always having something new...)

Ok can you fix the turns too?

right now you can only buy 999 of them because that's as big as the slot is!

thxs

Q's so much more interesting when your messing with the rules half way thur. Continue!

I think refunding those market turns and miners and removing the happiness that had been gained should satisfy nearly everyone. Thanks for the quick response to such an overwhelming problem.

eh?

so let's see top ranked places start crying...and thnigs get changed yet again.....it's nice to see certain people being able to influence things in main seemless carries on with Quantum......I thought I'd give this server ago for the first time...won't bother with it in the future...what a waste of my time :(

The update actually helped balance things.....having no real way to kill politicians means the bigger people could just pour most units into this area...and thus we take a step back and they can again.

Geez how about having a bit of metal and sticking by a decision for once?

how about fixing the annoying little bugs like the cost to fix weapons?
that mean the top accounts to mass without any real cost.....no wait this would be taking another benefit away from them

1) if there is a bug, put it in bugs section - i do nto see anything about weapon repair cost
2) i really dont know what you are talking about with the rest of it... you contradict yourself and switch topics seemingly randomly, so i am not sure what point you are trying to make...or which side of it you're making it for...

well it's the fact you make an update...say that it won't be reversed certain people moan and guess what within 24 hrs it's reversed.

Happiness has gone back to the joke it previously was...basically meaning if you're behind now you can't actually catch up. Yes your update was massively overpowered....but an update of that type was needed most desperately.

and as for the wep bug....i guess as none of the front runners have reported it, maybe it actually was an intention rather then bug...my bad :-D

OK well frist off.

HAPPINESS ISN"T THE SAME!

As soon as the 22nd rolls around. KILLING politicans is DEAD easy! ( so shut up on that point)

Now... as for the weapon bug. i can tell you what happens but i don't know much else.

I attack, (and then Repair), and then attack again, and repair.

Now there is a KNOWN ISSUE/ Design where if you attack, and attack and attack. then the cost of repairs doubles each time about.

Then theres an issue that if you are attacking someone with 1/10th of your attack/ strike ratio the damages costs are less. However anything above that ie from 10% to 99% the damages aren't cheap to repair, and anything over that It's Real damn expensive to repair.

Now is that the bug your refering?

Lol, this wave = rofls stupid.

All these fixes and updates and changes and lord knows what's going on half the time and I still see the basic flaw in the game which is that if you don't spend $200 on a wave you can't finish top 5 and if you do spend $200 you barely need to play at all.

I'm seriously falling out of my chair laughing at this stupidity. If I never sign on again it's because I died laughing about this.

Happiness is not remotely the same now.

With the infusion of AT, the leaders(or anyone) can easily be massed and wipe out those absurd amounts of politicians.

Some people have 50% of their army as politicians.
A mass and repeat on them and they are out of the wave.

Finally we have a method to balance the Power of Politicians this wave.

are you all blind or what?

yes polis will be massed easy...and i can bet that's going to make you think twice about training so many......hence no one will ever build the same number of politicans as previous times

e.g

Player A has 100k politicians but has lets say 200bil happiness

Player B has 25k politicans and only 50bil happiness

Mass Player A to 0 politicans and he will still have 200bil happiness

Player B is going to be stupid to train loads more politicans to catch up. Meaning Player A need only train a small amount to keep stable.

and no High Empty that's not the bug

Next time you get attacked...take out exactly enough to do a full repair, now instead of repairing all at once, repair per point......feel free to leave anything you have leftover in the open for me  (apologies if this was a game intention and not a bug)
