I am open to whatever you wanna teach me man

. I don't like McCain or Clinton or Obama, they just say what people wanna hear, what they think will get them elected, and everything they say is a huge load.....
I didn't shoot down what your saying, but it just sounded like your one of those conspiracy theory people who think that our government plotted and actually did plan the 9/11 attacks. If your not, then that's my bad.
Also, I HATE how people blame "Bush" for everything that is going wrong. I guess I don't have any real facts or anything to support that stance, but they all just jump on the Bush Hater bandwagon because he is the President. They think EVERYTHING that is going wrong HAS to be his fault, there is no possibility that it is just the times, or the situation, or anything else. Nope, its his fault.
I am NOT, one of those people that is just brainwashed by all the things that the media spits out, I do realize that it completely came across as that...

Hate to break it to you, but the president and his hand picked staff is responsible for a great deal.
1. If not for the war in Iraq, our economy wouldn't be in debt as much...It'd still be in debt, but it wouldn't be my great-great-great grandchildren's as well.
2. He either allowed his staff to run the country, anyway they wished....or he's blissfully unaware of anything that goes on.....
3. He's used very shady tactics during his administration. Domestic Spying, Patriot Act, Spending out money on Iraq while they save theirs.
I could go on and on, but why bother. Eventually history will judge him for what he is either way. I'm content to wait for that.

That's a point I was gonna make but.. I made a different one. People think Bush makes every decision and its all his fault when in reality all major decision go through Congress and also his Cabinet/Staff advise him on everything he knows so it could mostly be blamed on them, although he does pick 'em

Actually, bush more then any other president in history went around congress by adding his own signing statements.
Congress finally tired of it, and so bush is currently a lame duck who can't get anything done.....BUT, the blame for the past does indeed fall with the congress who used their majority to follow whatever their president said to do.....Instead of being a force of checks and balances as intended.
I'm looking forward to that all changing with the next congressional elections, though I expect it'll be a democrat president next...so the same might happen.
Luckily, traditionally, I expect the economy to improve on the news that bush is leaving office....The dollar will strengthen at the thought of someone competent in charge.
Ron Paul, most likely the single most honest politician in government....Sadly would never be effective. Congress doesn't like him, so they'd block everything he wanted to do. If he tried to overrule them, they'd find a way to impeach him.
I rest easy knowing that neither of the next presidents are as extreme as the current one. Extreme right/left, either one, only seeks to damage our country.
This country needs independence from extremists. That's why I tend to favor the middle of the road types, the independents. In my lifetime, i'll see one get elected.

i've even come across this book, i haven't looked at the book yet but i'm buying it and will learn more, what will you lot do, sit in front of the TV, take in their bullcrap then run and vote obama!?

this is serious stuff and you guys better wake up and quickly!!!
Wow, No offense, But you really have no grasp on the situation in America. Sorry. (Altough you are correct about Obama, He is no-where near suitable as a president, especially if this possible war with the Russian Federation comes into fruition.)
The battle right now isn't Black V White, It's actually Black V Mexican. Yes, I know your saying that if OBAMA doesn't get elected, then black people will be upset, but sir, I live in USA, and I have friends of every race and creed, and just because Obama is black, doesn't mean he gets the vote of every black man or women. It's about what you represent. Now, don't get me wrong, alot of people DO vote fpr canidates because of silly reasons such as age or race, But the final issue is this; What do they believe in? And if you lived in America, You might have a better grasp.
Once again, I, in no way, intend for this be a so-called hate post, for I have come at this from a stance of one not on the outside looking in, but for a person who involved in that of which you what on
your screens.
If you truely believe that America is only full of those who have no opinion and lay in their own pools of laziness whilst being feed propaganda, then I'm sorry, but take a look at what you
know of your own nation before you discuss what you
think of mine.

They did a survey here in Canada, Jack Layton was more popular than John McCain. Now if you're American I don't expect you to know Jack Layton. Maybe even some Canadians don't. But google him. He's massively weird and creepy and robotic. People voted for their favorite politician. Obama came first, then Stephen Harper, then Hillary, Then Jack Layton, Then John McCain. Now, if you don't to google Jack Layton, I can put it in terms you'll understand. That's like voting in a big walking talking flaming turd riding a unicycle as more popular that John McCain.

I mean this with the upmost respect.
We're talking about
Canada.
This is
America. I don't give a rats arse about what the Canadians do. Heck, The only smart thing Canada did was come out and say Global Warming is a farce. Other then that, All they do is Eat Bacon, Drink Beer and Watch Hockey, Eh?
...Sorry if that sounds harsh, It's just I've had it with people from other countries talking about what they think sould happen with our politics.
I mean, Seriously, Quebec is on the verge of declairing indepence, Right? What right do Canadians have to tell us about
Politics? Not much, And we have even less reason to listen. Sorry.
That's like if ETL tried to change the way Kikaz ran Owned. It's just not happening, Nor should it.
