Looking good so far. Please only post if you're interested though. Each time I make one of those I get people showing interest then pulling out at the last minute for stupid reasons. We need to work out how many people there will be so I can work out whether we can organise discounts and how much people will need to pay for things.

Judging off last years Sha-Bang, we paid all up around 95 bucks each for paintball, which included 400 balls, the gun hire, hall hire and PIZZA!!! Mind you, I had to put down the deposit for 15 players, which was about 350 bucks, so the peeps ended up giving the rest payable to the hall and me my 20 that's had been already paid.

It doesn't mean that's how expensive it will be this year though.

The guys we went with last year were really good, so if people do decided that they want Paintball, these guys will be the ones I return to.

These guns at this field are at the maximum legal power... 300 feet per second.... Most places set them at about 220 - 250 feet per second.... I've been to these guys at a couple of different fields with my mates, there good fields with good refs and the BBQ is good :D

Hey, I'm happy with whatever the tribe decides.

Just be aware that if its "out bush" it could limit how many people would come, as City = easy to navigate. Bush = hard and more chances or getting lost or stolen.

The closer it is to the city, the easier it will make things on those coming from interstate. There is the other thing of not having very good, nor reliable public transport to take said interstaters, or even Melbournians to the outdoors place.

I quite liked the handiness of the Port Melbourne place. There was nothing stuffy about it. Sorry, but PIZZA kicks over BBQ! Pfft, BBQ is so pass'e!

As I said, its up to the majority to decide. I like the sound of the Die Hard Package though.

im gunna pick on this though, im a country boy, grew up "out bush" as you put it, and dont go to the city that often... where i live, and work for that matter, i leave keys in the ignition of my car, and car unlocked all day every day... never ever even had as much as a break-in and i almost guarentee 1 day of that in melbourne, car would be gone.
and then the navigation thing... i know my way across most of western side of vic without maps... but once i get off the highway in the city, boom! im lost... thats just me though, interstateers probs will be differant.

indoor or out, doesnt bother me for paintball... both have their ups n downs

hey now, no need to get defensive. I live in what most consider "regional" victoria, but coastal also. It takes me 2 hours to get home from the city after work, and I come home were I too can leave the house unlocked and not fear being bashed and stabbed and stolen from.

I was just thinking of those who are not from Vic and who have no idea where anything is and to get anywhere.

Im from QLD bush. Can leave the key in my car at home, but not really where i work :P well, i probably could where i work cause I can always see my car, but point is, the area isnt good for it :P And country is waaaaayyyyyy easier to navigate than city. Country, you dont have to know the roads and can find the place by heading in the general direction cause you will atleast get close to it, city half the time you have to go in the opposite direction to go where you want, especially in bris with all our 1way streets  You NEED to know exactly where your going to get around in the city without much trouble. If i go "through" the city, i stick to the expressway and the furthest "in" I go is vulture st  not that any of you melbournites know what that is, well, some powderfinger fans might lol.
