Actually, Tauri is a real word - a noun derived from Taurus, which is the fixed earth sign of the zodiac; therefore it literally means 'people of earth'). It is also pronounced incorrectly in the show (should sound like 'torr-eye'). :-D

Well I haven't seen the movie since it's initial release...so I may be a little fuzzy...don't remember much from 1994... :lol:

Actually, Tauri is the direct word for Bull in latin, if memory serves.

I thought 'Taurus' was direct for bull? But having just checked, it would seem to say that both are, depending on where you look. Which one is more correct than the other I don't know - having been some 18+ years since I did any Latin! Irrespective, the zodiac reference is still correct. :-D

Not saying I'm into astrology, the zodiac and horoscopes by any means (although, my sign is actually Taurus)! My Mrs is into it - I just keep annoying her by saying things like:

"the Moon is in Uranus"

I recon I make a pretty good Goa'uld, Arrogant, merciless, odd dress sense and a touch of the dramatic. Only difference is my snake is not in my head, it be in my trousers :lol:
