How is that going to work when the person that attacks you is in a very powerful alliance and it is just you? I am tired of being massed and the person massing has nothing for you to attack back. I wish sabbing would kill attack supers first and then miners second. This would make the game more fair. I am tired of the way this game is being played now. It used to be fun!

I have been in your situation before and I justput everything i have against what I am attacking. plus if your smart about it you can minimize your losses. So find yourself a good comander and have them teach you how to war in a game when everything you loose should be able to be gained back with in a week of hard work.

All you can do is to farm them every turn, if they sell all their weapons, send out their MS, no defense and no spies. The game is getting more pointless as time goes on. Give me a way to kill attack supers then it will be a more level playing field.

War of atrition kills the supers also... you didn't read what I wrote.

You must be an alliance member for 30 days, so leaving and declaring war of attrition wont work, Willie!

So a war of attrition is a 1 sided fight? both don't have to accept?
intresting

There is a bug somewhere and it doesn't.
can only mass when in a alliance war against another alliance <- so lone wolves can never be massed
Lose 3 MT's if U attack same account 20x in 24hrs Includes Raid <- wth? why the hell should I lose MTs for ATTACKING in a game that is ABOUT attacking
To mass, your def must be 2x more than the one being massed <- yeah right.... So basically I can build a 50t defence then sit tight and know that no one is dumb enough to build a 100t defence?
After massing another, U can not sell your weapons for 7 days <- we already have -bad- returns on weapon sales though the ability to sab is nice. But this isn't going to stop people. Like it or not, snipering is a valid tactic, it just shouldn't be the only viable tactic
If U lose 3MTs, U can be attacked for 7days without 3MT loss. <- and this does what exactly?
The retaliator only pays half of repair cost when attacking back. < lol nope... there's usually a reason for fighting and the prices are what makes it a battle.
Im a masser and hate these. I will post my idea's. <- and they have. Refer to Tokko's post as quoted : [spoiler]

Apparently no one saw my suggestion so I'll throw it out there again o_O[spoiler]
Colton wrote:Getting massed and not being able to retaliate = a pointless game.
Here's my suggestion,
How about if you mass someone, your offensive units are "open" to be attacked and killed for X amount of time and just for fun, how about killing offensive units gives a ton of ME? Would make wars slightly more enjoyable and players would be able to retaliate if they act before X amount of time.
I hate it when you get massed by someone with 0 defence and covert so I also like the idea of the X-X ratio for Offence and Defence.

The day your supers are open to be killed is the day i quit the game, even if it is for a certain amount of time for them to be killed so its not a very good suggestion...also when massing a def over 4tril you lose enough resources as it is so its not like the person massing doesnt lose anything, plus why dont you sab the weapons? someone with a strike that big wouldnt necessarily sell they're weps off straight away otherwise they would lose out on heaps of naq they used building them.
Just leave everything how it is for goodness sakes and when you get massed get over it...lol

increase attackers death ratio so it alot higher then the defenders
so building a defence as more of a point to it in wars

If U lose 3MTs, U can be attacked for 7days without 3MT loss. <- and this does what exactly? If you attack the same account 20x in the same 24hrs the one massing would lose the 3 MT's and the abilty to sell weapons for 7 days, or 72hrs, something like that.
This would still allow massing but with a risk that the masser can easily be massed back whilst he/she still has a def worth massing back.
Losing 3 MT's would stop the one massing from going onto PPT, as it would not be needed.
I say it would not be needed because massers say the same, its a war game and massing is fun etc. So not allowing PPT, after you have massed, raided, a certain amount of times, it will leave you unprotected for retaliation and not being able to sell weapons for a certain amount of time will say that, your a masser who likes massing others and even though you do not like the same happening to yourselfs, you do not mind as it is much fairer for the one that was being massed a certain amount of times for fun. afterall its a war game and massing is fun.
Or is it only when the masser destroys all def for no reason that it is found funny? I think what i said about the masser losing 3 MT's, there for no PPT and losing the ability to sell weapons for a certain amount of days is even more funnier
This wont stop players from being massed would it? because it shouldnt do when you say, if your massed, mass back.
If you can mass/attack/farm or even raid someone to the point where they have lost all def, just for fun, the account attacked on needs to beable to have something worth retaliating for. Atm, if nothing is done, anyone can mass, sell weapons, go on ppt, maybe buy more strike, maybe more UU if the masser has not reached there limit and they could save there naq per turn and wait a while. Regardless of what massers do, they will always sell weapons which does make retaliation pointless.

do you realise how much it costs to arm a 6t strike? I had rank 1 strike, costs more than 25t to arm it and to sell it you get like 10t. No one is going to do that many times...

I can appreciate you are -annoyed- at getting massed but all these suggestions don't really make the game much fun or more interesting. They make it boring! Yeah they'd make you plan your strike but say I want to mass someone on a Wednesday and I used a market turn on Monday... I have to wait the week out before I can mass them? Bah... doesn't really work. Or I want to retaliate about being massed. I used one MT already so I can't retaliate with those rules as I no longer have three MTs to lose.
EVERYONE has something to mass, you just have to look for it. Here's some suggestions for you. I don't necessarily agree with them all but they've all be done in the past.
Methods of retaliation
- mass any surviving troops on their non-existent defence
- mass their alliance
- mass their friends
- mass their MS
- steal their planets
- mass their officers
- mass their CO
- steal any planets you like on officers/CO
- sab them
- declare a war of attrition then scream 'coward' if they don't accept

- wait and mass them later
I'm sure there are others and despite what you say, no one is ever really massed for no purpose, there is almost always a reason, just that you may not agree with the reason.
I DID like one of the earlier suggestions though, as it was simple and elegant in it's solution - you have to set war to mass. Leaves you open for 24 hours for no nox retaliation and is a risk for you to take then.
