That was always TO's mandate - small numbers and active - we lost our way at some point....

Nice to see someone still fitting the bill in FS. Good luck guys :P

That would be pretty much the core of FS, and you nailed it.

We never look for allies, treaties or empires. I even tell my members not to recruit too many as i have to stay withing small managing numbers.

I don't think an alliance has to be big in numbers to fit in the "BIGs".

Wow I have to admit this kinda shocks me. Lore hit the nail on the head for why we stay so small... Its why we are good at what we do.

and for the list of allainces im sure if you check the allaince histories you will find an extremely long list off alliances we have faught.

Looking forward at seeing what this comes to.

But remember vote FS for war allaince of the year!

LOL

Well I almost hate to say this as many will veiw it as negative, but its just the truth. Being small an active is a major advantage, but it also make some of your war posturing make you look so foolish at times. I mean you admit being small allows you to hit much larger alliances(membership wise), farm more naq then you lose, and you generally strike first and gain ME by doing so. Being in multiple wars is even more efficent in this manner. So why have some of your members bragged so much, and taunted other alliances to do what can't be done, and match your damages on them? Fighting 3 wars at once with semi or stagnate alliances really isnt an accomplishment anymore. To me the Techno war was pretty much a joke and a sham. Sad to see that play out publicly, and I'm glad thats over.

Not to mention you do shy away from the server war, with good reason as its not overly civil at times, but this in itself removes you from truely active alliances. It pits you against semi active alliances or alliances with few active warriors.

But ultimately the alliance as a whole has grown, some have made some mistakes or acted inappropriately at times, but FS is going through what all long standing alliances do when coming of age, and they are finding their way pretty good. I also take nothing away from FS as they havent made any mistakes everyone else has made before them.

As for War Alliance of the year?

I think being in 1 war for 7 or 8 or how ever many months ranks a bit higher then being in 3 or 4 different wars over a month or two :smt066

But you can fight us for the title if you want. :smt071 just some good natured ribbing mate

I was part of FS myself and i must say they are a great alliance. Many friends where there when i joined more where there when i left. Every war a alliance fights has its up and down sides as Lore pointed out. But overall yes in my eyes FS is the war alliance of the year.
