Does this mean only hours left wooties!

Probably more than just hours.

I've got to write the spy functions, and rebuild the bank. Then I have to check over the login/registration page to make sure everything works.

Once that is done, assuming I haven't forgotten anything, I'll have to setup the domain, flush the database, and get the server ticks working.

There are a few things I don't have passwords to deal with (server ticks and domain setup). Hopefully you'll all have a shiny beta to play in the next 24 hours.

It should appear around http://origins.stargatewars.com

So far things are only a little behind. Had some issues showing up in some of core files that lead me around in circles for a fair amount of time.

Sorry to bring you all bad news like this, but I'm going to have to push the release back till sometime saturday morning (GMT-08:00 - PST, Sorry for all you guys on the other side of the world where Saturday morning is just around the corner)

Look on the bright side though, this gives you more time to make some suggestions for race/unit/weapon names ect...

Nice, so damn early for us poor Aussies come sunday morning...

Origins.stargatewars.com leads to a quantum beta/testserver page, and 911 or 123 codes don't work, I cant manage to login, do we have to register?

The beta is technically up, I have to flush the database before anyone can register for it, and the registration isn't working as of yet, so there is still a little more work to do on my end. So hang tight.

I was wondering why it told my my username had been taken

Hm I managed to register I think...there did say something that shouldn't say (some codes, can't really remember) but it sent the message to my mail account with password and email and name, couldn't login though. I used 123 code, tried to login with same code but it didn't work

well, if you registered, and Gary is going to flush the database, it probably wont work =P
