No, AC kills spies, spies hide your stats. AC only usefull if you want to mass someone i guess.

You are so wrong in your thinking here mate.
The power givin by AC is not the point. Covert and AC levels decided the power given. If your Covert level is 10 and your AC level is 1 then you get 10Times more power per man from covert then AC.
The reason people use AC for power increases, is because its the only place the defender has the advantage. Def and covert are always at the disadvantage and take massive losses over the incoming forces. AC units are different in the fact they die at a rate of 1 to 3, so the attacker always loses 3 times as much as the defender. Thats why people use AC. Has nothing to do with the power given by AC.

And another thing i've noticed: every time I spy someone, it shows me that he has around 600k UU (that's about the max i've ever found, even though he had an army of over 60 mil), and U super soldiers about 40 mil. Of course i can only take from the UU, and the rest remain in his realm. What are untrained super soldiers?

The 'untrained' super soldier are the miners.

I try to ascend with 5k turns, send everything untrainable over to a friend then sell the turns for naq, naq to buy resources.
Keep a low UP aswell.

[quote="sYntAxInFiLtrAtIoN"]Nothing much I can say other than what has already been said. Miners = Good. Train lots. The majority of your army. Your MS and AC are good ways of climbing ranks to get GnR. FSS with the 1001 GnR points BEFORE you ascend is a brilliant idea.

along these lines i would say build an attack force of 200bil over a def force of 200bil as the attack rank will be a lot better for your overall rank

Who said i don't have income. And never heard of farming!?
figured you would say that. And what do you think happens when you farm the wrong person and lose your stats, and have to start from scratch again? Maybe I'll mass yo so you can find out first hand

Miners worth it... *Insert a gasping Angel sound*
Of course they are they give you bank space.
Miners become entirely not worth it when you have say... a Commander with 100m miners feeding you and your bank holds 1 trill. Than... well... They are no longer needed... wait what am I saying? MINERS ARE ALWAYS WORTH IT xD

All the info needed is in the Noob/FAQ area but the best advice I could give is get a good CO and join a training alliance.
1) Re your spy report, the order you see Units in is
Attack Mercs - Defence Mercs - Untrained Mercs
Attack soldiers - Defense Soldiers - Untrained Units ( The ones you can raid )
Attack Supers - Defense Supers - Miners
Ideally to raid, you need to find several hundred K UU on a 0 def account and have a low strike to keep your own repairs cheap, since AT sell for 330K UU/K, you want to get a better return that that ( Over 5K UU per 15AT raid ).
2) To get in G&R ranks ( I think this is about rank 1800 now ) all you need is balanced individual ranks on Strike/Defense/Covert&AC/MS if your not in G&R ranks, raise the lowest of the individual ranks. Personally I did my 1st ascension when I was 1.5 Mill army size and my 6th at 9 Mill army, each time it cost me about 1 Trill to get back in G&R range, MS weapons & shields is a good investment since you will want to ascend at least 6 times and you keep the MS while other stats are reset.
3) Miners are essential, IMO you want 85% of your army size in the mines, for income, bank size and so they cant be killed.
4) ACers are good for to 2 things, 1)Killing other people spies. 2)Raising stats / rank with untrainable/unkillable units. ( Just remember to untrain them BEFORE attacking people with defenses ).

I've found that AC have a higher stat then Covert, at the same level with say 1mil uu trained in each AC is always higher, I think that's where the strong "power" comes from there.
As for the level 10 being 10x level 1 I think it was a level n AC and level (n+2) Covert are equal in strength
(Yes I explain using maths terminology, university does that to a person

)
