Thanks again KMA, I will definately check out those maps. Maybe one day we'll be able to convince the world of the truth and stop the politicians from controlling history......

well, if people knew the true extent of human history they would be outraged, believe me, i am holding back allot of info that's taken upwards of 10 years to sift threw all the story's and find out what is fact and what is pure fiction.

you have to keep in mind that ALLOT of peoples reputations have been built telling lies, and its not so much the politicians as it is the established historians and archeologists who would rather die protecting their reputations which they have built on lies, than tell the truth.

You would think the human race would learn from our mistakes and at least quit repeating the same ones. One day hopefully that will all change.

when i look at the state of peoples interests and how much we just don't care anymore, it doesn't encourage me to hold my breath and wait for that day

The Controversy

The Piri Reis map shows the western coast of Africa, the eastern coast of South America, and the northern coast of Antarctica. The northern coastline of Antarctica is perfectly detailed. The most puzzling however is not so much how Piri Reis managed to draw such an accurate map of the Antarctic region 300 years before it was discovered, but that the map shows the coastline under the ice. Geological evidence confirms that the latest date Queen Maud Land could have been charted in an ice-free state is 4000 BC.

On 6th July 1960 the U. S. Air Force responded to Prof. Charles H. Hapgood of Keene College, specifically to his request for an evaluation of the ancient Piri Reis Map:

Dear Professor Hapgood,
Your request of evaluation of certain unusual features of the Piri Reis map of 1513 by this organization has been reviewed.
The claim that the lower part of the map portrays the Princess Martha Coast of Queen Maud Land, Antarctic, and the Palmer Peninsular, is reasonable. We find that this is the most logical and in all probability the correct interpretation of the map.
The geographical detail shown in the lower part of the map agrees very remarkably with the results of the seismic profile made across the top of the ice-cap by the Swedish-British Antarctic Expedition of 1949.
This indicates the coastline had been mapped before it was covered by the ice-cap.
The ice-cap in this region is now about a mile thick.
We have no idea how the data on this map can be reconciled with the supposed state of geographical knowledge in 1513.

Wow! That's a really significant article! Makes you wonder what other knowledge has been lost or suppressed.

WOW, Dude(You are a dude right?) You wasn't kidding about having a lot of information! I have also heard (somewhere don't remember where) that in the Indian (country) bible, they describe the splitting of the atom and something called a mercury jet engine? I wonder if any of it could be tied to the survivors of Atlantis bringing what little knowledge they still possessed to other cultures?

i'm not 100% versed with the Indian epics (the Mahabharata and other epics) but these epics are detailed accounts of "Gods" (aliens) in ships waging war on each other and bringing mass destruction to much of the world leaving mankind caught in the middle. the Mahabharata gives an account of explosians that if you were to superimpose the details of these explosions on modern day man, he would have no hesitation in saying "AH! thats what an atomic explosion looks like", no hesitation at all because it describes in detail the deafening sound, color, shock waves and mushroom cloud....

I'm not really too far from where those two cities (supposedly) were. I'm sitting in lovely downtown Baghdad winding down the time until the end of this deployment. Would love to go back in time 10k to 15K years and see what the world looked like back then.

Speaking of Sodom and Gomorrah, I believe a similiar fate fell upon Atlantis. I believe it was attacked from orbit and destroyed.
