If you can afford it... Then buying capacity is the way to go.
Let every1 else buy techs, because then the price for techs will be lower for you. Wheras the prive of capacity wont change.

oh, thats definately true, I only meant in terms of actual power.... whats the point on bumping your volleys from 20k to 30k for the sake of a few extra bil firepower for like 1trill naq or whatever, when you can get tech and bump your firepower up by 20x for half the naq.

Why not just leave your MS as it is and get back to it later, you can spend that naq on much better things. For example I'm not even rebuilding it since this Evil Lord guy would mass it anyway.

on ms techs versus weapons ..... my opinion is it depends on how often you get massed. if you are not massed much then capacity would be the way to go and then later when you raised techs it would jump your MS out the sky. but if you are massing a lot with it or get massed a lot then the capacity would just be more expensive to repair every time and the techs would be more worth it. just my opinion

but see getting more techs doesn't help you at all for MS when your being massed, as " you just make it cheaper " for the other guy to get the same techs..

Basicly if someone wants to mass your MS, and has the naq, than it shall be massed

lol true but cheaper to get your ms back up... or just buy slots and slots and slots and then one day fill slots and then you have a ship...

and for the guy massing your ship or whatever... just make friends with ppl with bigger ships and cross fingers
