$bank_mod=your bankUpgrade with 1.0 as normal. +0.1 = +10% of base. so 2.4 would be 240% of base or 2.4 x base.

$income_mod=30/40; //40 current income. 30/unit is bank limit. this was set a while back, but basicly it means bank is 3/4 or income.

$userincome = (untrained * naq/untrained) + (miner * naq/miner) (naq/ut = 200 and naq/miner=500)

if goauld $userIncome *=1.2

SO BANK MAX IS:

$max_bank = ($userIncome * 2 * 24 * (2) * $income_mod * $bank_mod);

<going to get your numbers now....>

untrained: 74,323
miners: 5,000,000
race - not goauld.
bank mod = 2.2

so using the forumulas above:
$bank_mod = 2.2
$income_mod=0.75
$userincome = (74,323 * 200) + (5,000,000 * 500) = (14,864,600) + (2,500,000,000) = 2,514,864,600 (naq/ut = 200 and naq/miner=500)

$max_bank = ($userIncome * 2 * 24 * (2) * $income_mod * $bank_mod);
$max_bank = (2,514,864,600 * 2 * 24 * (2) * 0.75 * 2.2
= 398,354,552,640

Naq per miner is 1000, not 500.

Slug is right. By those calculations, my income per turn would only be 2.6 billion currently. My current per turn income with realm alert at none is 5.2 billion. The difference between that calculation is 500 per miner to 1000 per miner at 5.2 million miners. Therefore, my calculation should be at

(1000*5,200,000)+(200*43,476)*2*24*(2)*.75*2.2=

825,057,319,680 bank size max.

My current bank size max is

413,217,348,192 bank size max.

That is almost exactly half. Therefore, by the calculations provided, my income from one day is bankable, not two. It could be because my account was created at a time when the change was being made. I just would like to have the ability to be on the same field as some of these other guys who have massive massive banks and I can only bank a wee wee wee wee wee or wee to the nth in a negative nth bit.

I think I have been hanging with Affirmation too much... man...

If it makes you feel any better, I've been comparing my numbers against yours, and it appears that my banksize is also generated using the miner production value of 500 and not 1000.

Im not logged in right now, but I know I have a similar number of miners to you, and my bank is approximately 450bil.

I would say I have used somewhere between 5 and 7 market turns on bank increases, but I cant remember for sure.

Perhaps everyones bank size is calculated that way. The problem could be that you are running your calculations based on your income which has recently changed. Perhaps Admin needs to update the rules section or whatever it is that says banksize is 1.5days worth of income.

Good to hear there is at least another dog in this fight. However, go back to the beginning of the thread and look at Sorrow's calculations. His work out for exactly what is posted in the rules.

Also, Affirmation checked his and his works out. We're not on the same playing field right now.

Mine is (1000*7,131,243)*2*24*(2)*.75* 1.7 =872,864,172,844 right now.

Which doesn't look right either, back then when I first posted I had used 7 20% increases for a total of 140% (1.4 multiplier). Untill then I used 3 more so it should be 200% increase (2 multiplier) for a total of 1,026,898,992,000 bank size. Seems weird that I got an 1.7 multiplier when it should be even numbers only coming from the 20% increase.

Obviously your bank size is way more off, probably caused by the turnly income given by miners being at 500 instead of 1000, but it seems like something went wrong here too, now that I checked it again.

Slug, good arguements, you seem to have taken up my mantle of putting on the good verbal fight in the Forums, and I am glad you are the one taking the shots this time! I lack the verbal fortitude and mental stamina to forge ahead with too much verbal jarring, but apparently have not slipped into the abyss of the "temporal sinkhole" like Apo! HAHA

I let Hiko, an old ally from many years ago (original charter Aeon Kings, myself, Cool Breeze was one, Hiko, Bahamut, El Magnifico, Midnight Masochist, the good ole days in Main) take a few quick hits of about 25-50 bill NAQ every so often to help him build up for a massive Quantum victory. I thought it was "helping a friend" from two very active players, myself, fighting hard to learn Quantum, and getting hints, tips, and some support from Hiko (Hiko never farmed me unless I let him, and he also slammed/sit on several players on my behalf who had attacked/farmed me aggressively) and he, on a planned mission of dominance to prove that a concerted effort, by friends and allies working together, could affect the outcome of a Quantum Era. Yes, apparently, I fed NAQ to a friend, later admitted it, and got verbally spanked for my actions.

By your arguements, I was cheating, and I can see how you could get there, I just still don't feel like I cheated, because our point was to prove that true teamwork, could defeat all tactics on this server.

Anymore, I just dont know what to think. I would like to keep your respect, and have you continue to play, as I too have admitted to a type of feeding, but now after the verbal onslaught of the Forums, I tried to play better this Era and adhere to the standards of acceptable play. So, maybe some(me) and others will do better given a second chance to adhere to the acceptable playing styles we discuss. We are still hashing it out, with your help, with my admissions, and even with Kikaz's essentially correct comments that he so smoothly delivers in the Forums.

I just don't want you to give up, as I think we can effect a change, and as one who S1eepy correctly said felt the weight of the opposite side of the arguement, I don't want you to think you are not fighting the good fight because it seems you may be the only one saying it. We need the two sides to find the magnetic north of the middle we can all endeavor to play towards! Many probably feel like you do, but, as publicly typed Forums go, once they read your opinion spanked properly and roundly may lack the conviction to come out and voice their support in your favor!! HAHA

Just take it from me, someone you have never met, never seen, have no idea who I am or what I have done, stand for, or will stand for, but at this moment, am completely serious when I say that you should not get discouraged. Somewhere in between what you believe, what silly stuff I spit out in the Forums, and the logic of all within the rules will be what we will all accept as the new ethical standards of play for Quantum...

And for that alone I hope to compete with you next wave no matter what happens for the game will not be the same for me without proper competitors to test my wits and strategy against!!
