Well, I was introduced to the game by my Son in law. There were 7 of them playing from the uni they attended. He had a cook out over at his house and they all came. When he introduced me to them he used all our SGW names.

Goo used to call me Buck in public...All the time. I wouldnt mind, But frankly, we live in england, people used to look at us funny...

I normally sign off emails with something like "Cheers, Alex", or "Regards, Alex", etc.......I once did it as "Happy Hunting, Magni" to a lecturer.....he was a little confused

My biggest mistakes once..
I was on MSN chatting (in English) with an SGW alliance member and (in Dutch) with a RL friend. Lesson: don't multitask if you're tired. I mixed both talks in the end

Got the most strange reactions

Trying to think of something not listed that I've done, I think the most common thing for me is to call people by their SGW names, I got 2 friends that play and when talking to one about the other I use their ingame names cause I know a few people by their real names.

When sending e-mails at work, I need to think about the name I put, as sometimes I have started to type Regards, Lord Vishnu.
Also, I do use Goauld words now and then. My daughter was playing at a park, and there was a paddling pool. She started to run over to the paddling pool and she had her best cloths on, and I looked up and shouted Kree, which my daughter kept on running and went into the water.
However, the family next to me looked shocked, not because of the word but beacsue I had shouted out a non word

.
Also, I use Sholva and hashak quit a bit

Norbe was a RL nick before it was my sgw alias, so ... doesnt really matter to me.

I think it would take some getting used to calling people by their real names when you'd meet them at like a convention.. especially those whose real names you'd hear there for the first time.

Ah well.. fun times are upon us.

I adjust my time, so I can do some turn farming. Usually I wake up 4 minutes after hour. For example 5:04 AM, so I can do some farming, and then I do usual things, I dress myself, I eat, ...
