Say what you want about the factions being definitions now, fact it is it's just a desperate, last ditch effort to save the factions in atleast some form. Which is rather pitiful TBH. What I find amusing though, is that in the process you have watered down the factions to be entirely pointless. Rather sad how far one will go to hold on to something, even if it means bastardizing whatever it is.

But .. but .. that is how it has always been done..

also, i know all 3 main factions(ie, technically fourth) but am the main deity of the Second faction, thus establish my Banner as Second.

The whole point of the factions to begin with was to organize the different paths of posting. When it was over with, there was four factions wherein anyone could find a home with at least one, as within those four factions all forms of posting were defined (yes, even you fit in here--even though you refuse to accept it).

As much as I and many others would like to see it back, the days of the Spam RPG is long gone. The factions were part of that, living as the functional races of the game--but the definition of those posting styles, being the ways of forum activity, shall live on forever. At least, if nothing else, in memory of what once was.

its as if the neos are MGM and the factions were the races ingame..... now, theres doctor whos and whatever else and nothing as defined as it once was!!! onoz! copyright infringements!

err...

(on a side note, 2nd is the only faction i hold official status in, Keel or Psi should be able to verify... also as most 1st gen neos would know, ive never actually joined them. twas around before that infamous war which broke the factions etc)
