What I don't understand on this, is if I have zero DA, shouldn't anyone who attacks me also get this same bug/issue and not get gold/naq ?

Obviously you aren't experiencing this issue. It's annoying to the users who are experiencing the issue. If you can't seem to even get a foothold on the start of the round, not playing the round seems to be the obvious choice.

I haven't seen any posts of the admin working on this issue. There is no response in this thread from the admin. Just a mod note to quit bashing each other. No note in game (mass message or note at top of screen) to let anyone know that any updates are on the way, underway, or in the process.

Currently everyone seems to be protected in game, but unsure of why?

It really didn't seem to be much of a setback. All it did was deprive you of the satisfying little message telling you how badly you just torched an inactive account for their naq. Now, I realize there may have been varying levels of "bugginess", but IMO nothing that hampered the era start all that much. And, personally, my choice would be to wait for the bug to be fixed rather than simply not playing.

Regardless, everything seems peachy in the Qverse now, so we can all go back to the instant gratification of naq farming.

I've just logged in for the first or second time this wave and have been farming happily until suddenly every attack I make (onto nil defences) is getting 0 naq! I am winning each time but getting 0 naq. I have not had the error message from earlier in this thread. This is very annoying I wanna attack more

your defense must be higher than the targets attack otherwise you just break their defense but get 0 naq
