Another one? *yawn* How quaint. And boring. You must be INCREDIBLY bored to cause such boredom unto us all.. :o

Exactly!... if I am bored...why should everyone else not be?

Noo! I don't like being bored. :P

Re: Is this game dying a slow death?

Threads complaining about status of game = no effect.
Emails complaining about status of game = no effect.

Speaking to Jason directly at Player Meet = potential for effect as he is put on the spot and is expected to respond there and then.

Mass group of people speak to Jason directly at Player Meet = much more potential for effect.

However, this mass group of people would have to be anyone that doesn't normally go to Player Meet, because usually it is the same people there every time, and considering the number of people that play this game actively not many attend meet as usually it's no more than 20 people.

20 people would make it look like no-one has any issues or concerns to bring to Jason.

Having said that if a mass group of people were to go to Player Meet it would not be wise to just go there and demand updates for keep the game alive, you need to think about potential updates and present them to Jason. Don't just expect to say we want some updates otherwise people are gonna continue to leave.

I mention this to Jason every few weeks that things need to be done, but one voice alone has little impact.

Every wednesday at 09:00 Game Time, then again at 13:30 Game Time (I think the second one is correct).

~Insider Trader~ wrote:It's not 69000 accounts. Its about 175000 at last count. And one of the most ridiculous things I've seen (and there are many lol) was an inactive ranked 1930 a week ago.

Games start off well, then the oldies get too big and the noobs can't catch up (and before you start with the noobs have never had it so easy argument, how long do you think it will take for your average noob with no connections to do say 15 ascentions, get 300m units and a 1 trill MS?, and that's before they get picked on and farmed daily by the many who like to throw their weight around) It just aint going to happen as is demonstrated by the 97% who leave.

Forum needs to share his thoughts on the future of his game. We can't sit here and debate this in a vacuum. The way I see it, the game has lacked a real purpose for a long time now.

And Noobert, I echo your sentiments on Twitter
what if after 6 months of inactivity after an account has hit 4997 4998 4999 or 5000.
it basically self deletes itself. it first sends a message via email to the email that was used to sign it up. a week later it begins. it basically takes the whole units of the account untrains everything sells weps and divides them up along with the turns and puts them in a certain bank. each bank is for seperate ranged players.
players under 10mil players 10-20mil etc
then once a week the banks of turns and units and naq are divided amongst the players who have been logged in the past 5months 30 days. it gets sent in a might all powerful broker that basically says accept for nothing and it doesn't count as a market broker space.

what would you say to that idea.
the accounts would still be there but they would be inactive and still farmable material.

Re: Is this game dying a slow death?

well i didn't mean the account disappears. it means it goes down to having 0 stats and its resources is removed.
and the broker thing is just a way for the smaller players to get some more pie.
or how about switch it.
the 400mil plus accounts that get thrown into the pot goes to the players with less than 40mil army size. and vice versa. that way the big players get nothing and the smaller players get a small piece of pie.
but this would be abused by just brokering units to be under 40mil army just for the gift from the ancients to be sent to you. (good name). everything gets abused.
