@max up to level tech 7 is not that expensive and helps with getting into 5 gnr ranks easier than building alot of defence and such.
@ duderanch your right 1.5 mill supers, 600 bill planets and 500 bill ms and 1.5-2 trill strike done (until someone sabs my weapons away cos of low covert level
)

ATM I spend the most naq on raw UP. I'm an ascender[2 left]. So I'm always saving for next min raw req.

My raw MS is already over 500b in total power. Simply because I smartly invest naq that would be spent on techs directly into my raw MS.
To increase MS Technology from 0 to 7, you will need 3,160,000,000,000 Naquadah.
Instead of wasting that every ascension only to lose it as soon as you ascend again, that's 1k-2k more slots on your raw MS that will carry over to every ascension after that... thus making the need for them, just to get into 5G&R, less with each ascension.
