Well tbh, you hit him for 50 bil, he asks for 100 bil in return, 2x losses isnt extortionate, their may be other costs, super losses, weapon repair and emotional devestation at being hit, TWICE!.

Then you assumeably told him no. So he massed you, then you massed him I think you said. Then I guess you asked and he returned or he offered peace now at 1.5 tril naqudah. Which is about right for a general cost to getting massed if you have half decent stats. But then again I dont know his stats.

So is it extortion, i'd say no, you farm him, he masses you, you mass him, you want it to end their you can pay his losses.
Although that really is up to interpretation.

I think accusations of extortion should be saved for.
1. Those who mass you out the blue with you doing nothing to them, then they ask for naqudah to end their massing of you.
2. Those who message you saying "pay X price or be massed" with no reasonable justification for said message.

so i only really had to cover the cost of what i took,
so really he was saying that if i didnt give his 50bill he would mass me becuase the other 50 cancels out,
so he wanted 50 for nothing ?

Dont get me wrong, I wouldnt pay it, Id tell them to shove it up their schwinkter, and their my farm and get over it. Doesnt make them asking for it extortion.

Well it seems that i have made a mistake in thinking that this was extortion then and iam sorry for acusing agrup of that,
