Dan Brown? please, that moron couldn't write a conspiracy if his life depended on it! :smt078

what sources are you on about?

i provided places for you to start your own investigation into these allegations, NOTHING MORE! those links are NOT meant to be taken as proof or sources, they are meant to be stepping stones for you to see for yourself.

you want me to do all the leg work for you but that isn't going to happen, if you care to find out then do some work of your own.

so why is he holding the book upside down, do you even understand the significance of something reversed in Satanism??

did you bother to research Aleister Crowley and who he's related to, did you watch the youtube film of the bloodlines??

don't take this the wrong way because i'm neither trying to insult or patronize you, but you are talking from a point of ignorance and your trying to tell me what's what?!

MEH!

all you have given me (as i have already stated) is WORDS, i have given you points of reference and enough info to see for yourself, you choose not to see and instead use WORDS to try and make me look like i don't know what's going on...

good luck!

btw, did you watch Ted Gundersons film?

if not, i suggest you watch it, its only 70 mins long. have a paper and pen handy (or not, i don't care either way!) and take down the key notes and research those notes.

I fail to see anything of any significance about Aleister Crowley, he appears to have been a nut who believed in his own press/took a bit too much of his own product.

He also appears to have published several books that are based on serveral precepts of hedonism/occultism & just general worship (by that i mean worshipping gods of all/any kind for the sake of been a worshipper)

I see nothing nefarious/evil/conspiracy like about it, he was just a nut

well i read your sources and came to different conclusions. Mostly because of what i know concerning the rest of the post you decided to ignore.

When you get to looking into what you conveniently forgot to comment on, let me know.

i've said it before and i'll say it again..

it doesn't matter what you or i think, it doesn't matter if we believe all this or not, none of that matters in the least...what matters is these animals believe it. we can laugh at it all we want, i assure you, "they", take it VERY seriously!

Crowley was no nut (well, not to the Satanists anyways) there are plenty of practising Satanists who look on Crowley as some kind of prophet and "they" take Crowleys work as definitive.

I have yet to read the thread, but I wanted to mention how contradictory the idea of blaming those who abstain from voting is with choosing the "lesser of two evils".

You see, if your only choice is between evil and evil, what choice do you have? Can you really blame the people who do not choose evil and express that choice by not voting?

As far as I see it, it's like offering almonds and peanuts to someone who's allergic to all nuts. He might be wiser in not taking any of them. At least, if one of them is imposed upon him, nobody can point at him and tell him how stupid he was for deliberately picking one.

kthx.

voting ism't a inherent principle of democracy?

i must have missed that in civics

It sounds kind of like your so jaded that you have no appreciation for the hard work of a motivated individual. How would you know how hard it is to get elected if you never tried to run for office or spoken to someone who has. How do you know a congressmen or senators couldn't effect change. There has actually been a lot of influential members of both houses throughout American history. Maybe you should brush up on it a little, know it all.

What separates the difference makers from the hopeless sheeple such as yourself jack. All that is coming from you are excuses with no fiber to the argument at all.

What exactly makes you beleive you don't live in a democracy?
Do you even understand civics enough to answer that question?

Maybe i'm right. In that, your entirely to jaded to even lift a finger to find some kind of inspiration in your life, to actually gain an informed opinion on anything.

nice bluff on naming your finance minister or homeland security head.( i picked easy ones that were in the news recently)

I have changed cities 5 times in 5 years. municipal politics don't' concern me. I know who the mayor is and thats about all i need to know.

i have a book called "The Secret Society's handbook", which lists every single secret society in the world, what they get up to, what they're stated goals are, and just who is in control of things-sitting at the top of the pyramid, if you will.

the epilogue of this book pretty much sums up the sceptics attitude:

"Now that you have finished this book you are probably thinking "if everything i have read is true, and they are so powerful, how come they allowed this book to be published at all? why didn't they surpress such highly sensitive information?"
that's easy. they rely on self-censorship.
refusing to believe what we cannot comprehend, or ignore that which frightens us is human nature.
still unconvinced?
how many reasons have you already invented to reassure yourself that none of this is true?"

source-The Secret Society's handbook by Michael Bradley

so go ahead and be as sceptical of the whole thing as you like, because refusing to open ones eyes is what keeps us ALL debt slaves and frightened of our Govt when it should be our Govts and leaders fearful of not an armed and numerous mob, but a single individual armed with only the truth-saying NO! this is Govt intrusion of my rights.

everyone here if given the chance (or a magic wand) would if they could, change things for the better, and yet those in power who have the "wand" or "authority" to change things for the better are incapable of doing so. we live with so much corruption and injustice it beggars belief that all the sceptics here can be so smug, ignorant (by choice), apathetic and hostile to someone like me who is trying to be helpful and educate those who do not know the truth, instead of turning they're attention to what matters most, truth, justice and freedom for EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US ON PLANET EARTH!

but i spose the truth, justice and freedom doesn't matter so long as we have our junk food, booze, condoms, large screen TV's, TV sports, latest gadgets, consoles, games and we don't have to think to hard, or dodge bombs dropping on our heads eh?!?!?!

modern day society and people are so apathetic and stupid (me included) its sickening to behold!

this is how sick and stupid we are in the west...we don't even know what language we are all talking here, that's how dumb we ALL are!

i am not talking about the name of the language, who here can tell me what language we are all communicating in???????????????????????????????????????????????

"There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance; that principle is contempt prior to investigation."
-- Herbert Spencer

"Condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance."
-- Albert Einstein

"A society whose citizens refuse to see and investigate the facts, who refuse to believe that their government and their media will routinely lie to them and fabricate a reality contrary to verifiable facts, is a society that chooses and deserves the Police State Dictatorship it's going to get."
-- Ian Williams Goddard

i have not forgotten (conveniently or otherwise) or ignored anything, but i ask you, what's the point of commenting on every single fallacy?!

that's obviously rhetorical, and to be blunt and honest, i'm not interested in an answer to that last.

Jack wrote:Defensive it is. Why is that, Thriller? Why must you resort to insults and diversion? Is it because the idea of a seriously flawed voting system frightens you? I mean, in your posts I have seen absolutely nothing in attempts to prove me wrong, but rather only insults in attempt to belittle my opinion. Why is that? Is it because you know I am right? Is this the only way you are capable of countering my arguments, by attempting to belittle my opinion and diverting from the issue at hand?

Because I have to say, even Sandman's posts/"arguments" are more intelligent. Atleast he tries to prove his points(no matter how stupid they may be).

You have read into the harsh tone as defensive. Maybe its a blind attempt to legitimize the things i have seen and done. Trying to give purpose to emotional crap i've been going through since i got back from overseas.

But i beleive my points are still substantiated.
A proactive approach goes farther than a passive complainant one. You provided no reasoned refutation about the difficulties of achieving an elected potion or any other assertion you made jack. You may choose not to vote over some perceived inequality in your electoral system; that you have yet to outline(so i dont really have much to work with) and that's your choice. But all that doesn't change the fact that beggars can't be choosers.

seriously and without sarcasm, why is it so hard to believe?

i'm curious to know why this is so, even after i have shown enough evidence to cast doubt on all that you think you know.

if i squashed you flat with a thousand tones of truth you would still deny it and happily carry on as before...

a few quotes comes to mind...

"All truth passes through three stages: First it is ridiculed, Second it is violently opposed, Third it is accepted as being self-evident."
Arthur Schopenhauer, German philosopher, (1788-1860)

"Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing had happened."
Winston Churchill

"For men become civilized, not in proportion to their willingness to believe, but in proportion to their readiness to doubt."
H.L. Mencken

"People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character."
Ralph Waldo Emerson

"All living souls welcome whatever they are ready to cope with; all else they ignore, or pronounce to be monstrous and wrong, or deny to be possible."
George Santayana

"What, sir? You would make a ship sail against the wind and currents by lighting a bonfire under her decks? I pray you excuse me. I have no time to listen to such nonsense."
Napoleon Bonaparte to Robert Fulton, upon hearing of the latter's plans for a steam-powered engine.

"That is the biggest fool thing we have ever done ... The bomb will never go off, and I speak as an expert in explosives."
U.S. Admiral William D. Leahy to President Truman, on atomic weaponry (1945)

"The discovery of truth is prevented more effectively not by the false appearance of things present and which mislead into error, not directly by weakness of the reasoning powers, but by preconceived opinion, by prejudice."
Schopenhauer

When leading authorities are all in agreement, they are almost always wrong.
An Old Axiom

"Almost everything that almost everyone believes is wrong."
Andrew J. Galambos

"Great thinkers have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds"
Albert Einstein

"The truth of today was the heresy of yesterday. Therefore, dare."
Immanuel Velikovsky.
