and spying will always count towards it - otherwise the powerful covert players could make a killin selling unlimited intelligence to other players.

pianomutt tried selling information. it was never very successful.

how about making it you get 3 per turn, and increase the cost of sabbing to 6? to a max of 100?

at least this way i can look for planets

im doing random hits now when farming. ie looking through the ranks to find naq, and just hitting it. i cant spy to see def. intelligence is a key part of war, and yet i am completely limited by it. i have a very nice covert which i literally cannot use.

I think it must stay like it is or else will be massing and farming party for all of us . This way it is more interested ...

It is time to Look this over again. As 50 Covert turns Does not seem to Be enough. Maybe increase the Covert activity to 75 to 100, Keep everything else the same. I know this was suggested already in this Thread. Just giving the thread a new Bump to get people thinking about it again.

A good Idea Jix. keep the limit on how many times you can be sabbed but remove the limit of how many sabs you can make. it would make wars a lot more fun when all you have left is your covert. It does kinda suck that you can only sab 2-3 peeps before your covert action runs out.

im all for it i think it should be.

Should me an upgrade for this. (or two: one for sabs and one for rec).

Because the recognition missions are much often used, This upgrade should be cheaper than upgrade for sabotage! (or few updates.... like mercs control: 10%... 10000% :P)

More covert missions, yes.

More sab turns, no.

EASIER to recon planets, no.

Extra cov turns would help if you want to spend an hour or two combing for farms.

But I absolutely think if you double the number of cov turns, you should halve the likelihood of a planet recon being successful. Maybe selling covert info wasn't a great success when it was tried on the market, but there's definitely a market for planets. And I, for one, don't think planets should be any easier to recon/steal than they already are. I'd even support the idea of planet def reducing the recon success (if it doesn't already, which I think it doesn't). When I decided it was time to jump rank and start earning some gr, I put a high cov for a while to keep myself in gr range. So I've successfully recon'd some of the big players' planets out of sheer curiosity and found some *amazing* ones (goes without saying, I suppose). Of course if I took one, I might as well just delete my own account there and then and save them the trouble.

(And before anybody asks no, the info is not for sale at any price. I have ethics. In fact, to show how serious I am I will post the name of anybody asking, on the forum. Don't do it. Not even in jest.)
