I know you may find this hard to believe but not everyone has T1 internet connection. Some are still on dial-up.
so everyone should be slowed down because a few people have slow Internet?

whatever amount of turns we got I'm sure you would still use them all and be waiting for a refill

I'm talking about the add-on's that repeat what you've done in one tab on all the tabs...so you open 20-30 tabs and hit 11 ATs and hit the enter button...this is then repeated in all the tabs...thus farming all 20-30tabs in 1sec. That's what I'm talking about. You can ask folks in SGAW, Chaos or Main I tab farm plenty and am pretty fast at hitting, repairing and banking within 1-2secs. Even multitab massing is fairly easy. I'm talking about the add-on's that are pretty much scripting. That's why I like the slow down.

which is it then? Punish every1? Or catch those we can?

The same complaints are coming up as when the fast attack icons were suggested,,, "too easy"
So now that its made a bit harder your complaining?

Its not that big a deal, evolve your style of play to the rules given.
That is what Q really shows isn't it? the ability to adapt to different game styles and strategies of playing? So adapt!

I'm all for adapting to an era enhancement and seeing how it changes the gameplay for that era. But this is going to be a permanent feature. Not something that will be changed next era. I am not going to have enough time to spend hours farming Q forever.

There are going to be waves that I will be forced to stockpile turns while RL takes priority, and I wait for some freetime to use the turns I have piled up (like last era)

But If this feature was in last era. I would never have been able to get through all my turns. Hell.. i wouldn't have even been able to get through 1/4 of them... If i know that before hand.. i simple wont bother trying. and that would be a wave lost to me. And a player lost to that wave. Quantum cannot afford to be losing players. Who knows.. if I had given up on quantum last wave, I may have found something better to do, and never returned.

I seriously doubt I am the only person this would apply to.

If this continues, it will drive people away. Which is the exact opposite of what should be happening. It is that simple.

I agree, i mean less ATs would make this game a lot more playable and a lot of players could actually consistently play the game everyday

But less at is a pain for those that are active. Coz what can we do without ATs? not much.. Its hard to balance the two.. but it was balanced up until the start of this era.
Why do we now have to try and fix something that wasn't even broken?

Exactly S1eepy.. Knight my internet often lags when there are many people on it, true it works very fast otherwise (my uncle who works in our net provider said they need to build another amplifier here to amplify the signal so it won't lag when there're many people online), but if we go there, why not create an era in which you can do 0 attacks per 156414hours? I mean after all, some don't have net access at home and can only play from local libraries and if people could attack and they couldn't due to not having net at home, they are at a significant disadvantage

This is what admin decided would help keep more people playing. I agree with him. You disagree. No big deal.

At least admin is trying (and is back checking on quantum). :smt047

SOOO true...

But yeah, if the AT's the way they are now keep more players i'm all for it, i've noticed quite a few new players this era which is fantastic, hopefully they don't get jack of the AMS's, as long as they realize they're not a "normal" part of Q.... at least i hope they aren't going to be...

Ode to the Attack Limiter... By Affy

Old man Affy, sitting at his keyboard.
Peck, poke, onesies Attack, watch out Inactives, Affy's back.

Hey old man, why don't you Tab farm?
Peck, poke, here Attack there Attack, Affy got his groove back.

Drinking his Geritol, adjusting his Donut cushion.
Peck, poke, Slow and Steady, Mrs. Affy's ready...

Working through the attack pages, one at a time,
Peck, poke, PM old Affy... hes so slow (lets Laughy).

Vanquishing the helpless, 11 ATs at a shot.
Peck, poke who's that catching, all you Top 10 so fetching.

Younger men are bored, frak this slow attack hoarde.
Peck, poke creepy as molasses, Affy will beat your azzes.

Peck, Poke.
Peck, Poke.
Peck, Poke.
Attack limiter is no joke....

HAHA Its an 'Old Man's' game again. #-o
