the title of this thread is called "bring back the death penalty for scum like this" not "should we have the death penalty?"

has anyone even clicked on the links i've provided to see just which type of "scum" i am talking about?

i have been paying attention and i dont agree mate.

obviously, EXTREMELY strict guidelines would have to be put in place which would come in force once a death penalty is sort for by the state. this could be regulated by a separate and independent body of both the state and the legal system. in short, a system of checks and balances to make sure that both the sentence IS justified and that the defendant gets a fair trial.

i would never condone the use of such punishment without a system of checks and balances.

ok, maybe its time for me to clarify my position...

first of all, i wouldn't trust the Govt. to look after a pile of *hit in the middle of a deserted island that's not on any map...so as things stand, you do have the moral high ground.
as i've said, the WHOLE system would need a major overhaul, but i stand my ground for the type of scum i have listed, they simply do not deserve to live, regardless if the system works or not.

IMHO, the system working or otherwise is no excuse for scum to live...

and i get the feeling that if the system wasn't so broke-down you would support capital punishment?

You don't regard the asking of the first question to inevitably lead onto the second?

such as expanding who would be deemed as "scum" and therefore warrant the death penalty?
