And you don't see any issue with this, allow me to expand.
Big player 400mill army, big stats, lowers income,
Smaller player say 100mill army, low stats, makes more income,
Big players farms little player to death, little player quits the game.......
The issue isn't around income, the issue is around the game being unbalanced, all admin has to do it link attack to defense some how, and your going to see alot less of what is happening, because to attack with a huge strike might mean you would be losing your huge defense in a retaliation attack.

M8 this thread is about making income easier to figure out so we can get the bugs fixed plus also see where we get stuff from.
this is a easy and small fix. The quote and issue you answer on was someone because of the first post saw a idea of adding a cost to have mercs and weapons and so on you find the thread where he talks about it and discuss it here: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=162922
I would prefere if you stick to this topic about what this idea and small fix is about next time .
Anyway this was how i thought the income page should look like:

Just to give you a idea I will also just point a few things out how they change and remember i do each change as it was the only chance and your income was 45mill so do not think about that its wrong in case NOX was on as well i will just show you which items can change and what they would show if they do anyway here goes:
Income Total (Has Commander 0%) 45,000,000 (0) <-- this means you have a co hence no bonus. Advertising Bonus (OFF) 0 (0%) <--- No Avertising no bonus NOX (ON) 4,500,000 (10%) <--- I just use the 45 up there as reference as you can see NOX takes now 10% Realm Alert Cost (Low) 4,500,000 (10%) Realm Alert Cost (Medium) 9,000,000 (20%) Realm Alert Cost (High) 18,000,000 (40%) Realm Alert Cost (Critical) 31.500.000 (70%) <---- As you can see it shows that you actually are removing alot from your income Alliance Pay (Alliance Less) 0 (0%) Commander Benefit (You have a Commander) 10,000,000 (10) Commander Benefit (You have a Commander) 15,000,000 (15) Commander Benefit (You have a Commander) 20,000,000 (20) Commander Benefit (You have a Commander) 25,000,000 (25) Commander Benefit (You have a Commander) 30,000,000 (30) <---- Here you now see how much your set by your co and how much you get it still don't show your sharing with others but thats not the point and you see the levels Officer Distribution (Officer Ratio) 4,949,505 (10) Officer Distribution (Officer Ratio) 7,424,258 (15) Officer Distribution (Officer Ratio) 9,899,010 (20) Officer Distribution (Officer Ratio) 12,373,763 (25) Officer Distribution (Officer Ratio) 14,848,515 (30) <---- Here you see how much you give your officers based on your own setting making it easy to take the number devide with officers and check with them that their Commander Benefit shows the amount it should.

Not a bad idea Nimras - obviously thought about it a lot!! Unfortunately things are probably too far gone - I remember suggestions such as this a couple of years back - and had they been implemented then (along with reintroducing the ability to destroy attack troops and attack troops aiding in defending), then it may have been possible to restore the balance of the game. However, back then people seemed more interested only in short term good ideas that would benefit them immediately, rather than well thought out suggestions that would restore the balance of the game, make it more interesting and more challenging.

Yes i agree with you there.
I saw this in another game i will not lie about that but it reminded me of i have wanted something like that here for ages.
It finally gave me the idea to how it could look and be made.
And then i posted and have since been working how to make it look and what should be on it.

It is a shame many of the updates, both suggested and implimented, are based for short-term benifit, and not long-term Longevity.
