Thank you.

I think this shows the intention of this thread failry well and I thank you for making my point Almost. Well done.

I won't bother to ask you how you can feel insulted and demand a warning to be given to someone who called you by your choosen race name, so no need to answer.

we would think that "forgotten ones" is an acceptable plural form of "forgotten"...

I agree that it should be yes, but also take it from there sides aswell... think if you were at war with someone and they chose your name as the forgotten ones, it's kinda negative SOUNDING and i understand it wasn't intended and i see how it isn't at all, but i also see how it can be taken negative

like oh those are the forgotten ones, they've been forgotten forget about them they are nothing,

see how it can be seen, because i do see how it can be seen as negative, but i also do believe it wasn't meant in any way shape or form negative, besides i don't even know if that is what this topic started out as... wasn't the topic to do with locking posts and not locking posts?

Almost just jumped the band wagon trying to "prove" my bias like usual.

Nice try Almost.

Hope you do find something more stable to base your accusations on next time.

Now back on the original topic :)

the closing of a thread after the author asked it to be closed,

i have come up with what i think would be a reasonable, easy, and all around great way to stop well hinder the biastness calls, and the saying mods are unfair, and to make users happier i think anyways, and would love to get it implemented and this topic is actually a perfect way to bring it up so i'll bring it up and see what users AND mods AND admins think of it!

Okay first off, Users will always call mods Biast because well Mods are humans so there for they are it's impossible not to be truthfully

okay here is the deal

We make it so if the author requests a topic closed, it is temp closed for like 8 hours, (if the mod doesn't think it should be fully closed), after the 8 hours, if the topic is still hostile and can not be resolved and the Author still wants it closed, yet the mod does not feel it should be, WE users and mods vote for a user or mod to become a special mod for this exact thing,

That mods only duty would be to see topics, and see if it should be permanently closed or remain open :) that way everyone is happy, yes i understand it takes a little power away from the mods, but at the same time it doesn't, because this person will be a mod, but they would also be a mod of the people!

has everyone done chatting and stuff ? cuz i'm not reading all of this until it's done ...

for further note, do not report off topic stuff we can filter that out very well ourself

do not spam and do not get involved unless you have some valuable input, and valuable is not saying: i agree and then saying the same thing as someone else has said before

i think it come down to the fact that FS as a whole wanted it closed and since FS started the thread we should be able to have a it closed if we feel it is necessary

After my thread was reopened against my wishes and without my knowledge I changed the title to better reflect the way it had gone off topic, the new title was 'Propaganda Flaming Spamathon waste of time thread' which seemed appropriate, mentioned no names, insulted no-one and contained no swearing.....

So why has the title been changed again by a Mod, again without my permission or knowledge, and why has my 1st post been locked to prevent me changing the title again ?

What is this, a damn police state with DDE wearing the jack boots ?

i believe that was the official complaint by the originator of a post and is on topic with my questions and request for an ombus ruling on these 'rules"

please allow Mezz to post, as long as clear and constrictive to the topic

Mezz, i would ask that u respect the potions of ombus, as much as this is upsetting to u, and refrain from any flaming comments and stay on topic
