And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
The Saints are coming..

Saints? People who willingly donate $50 into my PayPal account for those that have gone AWOL?
You know what happened this weekend? My girlfriend and I went out for a few drinks on Friday. She was wearing her very favourite Vivienne Westwood broach that she paid nearly £200 about a year ago. By the following morning (a good few drinks later) the broach had gone. She searched high and low at home, and couldn't find it. She resigned herself to having lost it entirely, and sobbed a little on Saturday morning. By Easter Monday, we took the opportunity to go out for something to eat as neither of us was at work, and on an off chance went to a pub we at first hadn't agreed to go to. The lady behind the bar took a couple of looks at us both, and then said to Mary (gf) 'were you wearing a broach on Friday night in here?'. To our utter surprise, she had found it, and kept it safe. The barlady had also chuckled because her staff were telling her how valuable it was, yet she maintained her sincerity and her honesty and waited on the off chance that we would return.
Point of the story is that on that day our (but particularly Mary's) faith in humanity was restored somewhat. Good old fashioned honesty goes a long way in making people feel good. I just hope there is some honesty involved in this story here.

I was thinking more along the lines of vengeful Irish chaps destroying stuff.. but that works too.
Such stories are good to hear, DD.

Hope this tale has a similar ending.. *frown* Unlikely as it may be.

Thanks for finally getting hold of him, but no payments received at all, so yes he is probably lying about that. Tarak states in this thread that he incorrectly put in the wrong address when it came to where to transfer the PayPal funds to, using @live instead of @hotmail - an easy mistake to make if you are tired I guess but you can't give further coc.k (co.ckerel - chicken thing? stupid filter) and bull stories and expect people to believe them. It isn't that difficult to send money on PayPal provided you have the money to send. Perhaps if money was an issue for him (as is right now with me) then the honest thing to do would be just to say it. That, or give me my account back, along with the 14m or so UU that were loaned in good faith.

Well, the site (rightly) doesn't accept responsibility for cash trades, so it is effectively his word against mine. I'll either get my money or I won't. One of lifes many lessons.

Alternatively, we find out his address information (paypal includes this) from someone who has traded with him in the past, and .. umm.. *stops short of conspiring to commit a crime*

I'd urge SuperSaiyan to get rid of him, if I didn't already know he was in the process of kicking him out.

Sitting on the rest of HVE is a bit .. pointless.
Located him, btw. I can send a postcard to his address.

Hey Sepiroth, good to see you again. I don't know who or what HVE is, but you needn't go to any extra lengths because of one individual. You can't paint them all with the same brush. Thanks all the same though.
It seems quite obvious that he is going to be tormented by some of the bigger boys and girls for some time now.

Are the rules still bent that easily regarding vacated (vacationed?) accounts?

Just seems a little too convenient that a person can slip in and out of different accounts as they please whilst they are declared as vacated. They still have the log in details, and ultimate responsibility for the account and therefore having any regular access to any other account in my book is having more than one account. There should be some sort of trading period implemented perhaps.
Anyway, I digress.
Where's my money man?
