all chemistry is an explanation of physical phonomenon, which obeys the laws of physics

all physics is maths :-D

I hope you're kidding. Maths is just a ancillary "science".

I'm in physics myself. I love it way more than chemistry, but the only downside to me is how solving almost any problem after second year involves integration in one way or another.

a lot of things are "merely applied mathematics"

let's start with engineering... :P

still, maths isn't what it's all about. It's just a tool.

1- :o not many people consider it as compliment
2- you didn't say "we" x2

I voted chemistry because it was the one between both which I did like the least. We had same teacher for both in high school btw...

we wouldnt want to be 100% predictable, would we?

i would prefer physics over chem any day (wanting to be an astrophysicist), but we have a crap physics teacher who decides to round the acceleration due to gravity to 10 instead of 9.8 to do his calculations and he gets off track every 2.6 seconds. So they are painfully slow lessons and you learn crap all. That's if you don't know what your doing already.

that sounds almost like some place in the US that made it a rule to define pi to be 4...
